Husqvarna 365 is a saw for typical professional use. It has been developed in close cooperation with professional users working in the most demanding conditions. The low weight and high power are combined with a rugged engine, making this saw exceptionally versatile and suited for a wide variety of applications. The X-TORQ engine gives you a much more environtment friendly saw with radically lower exhaust emission level and fuel consumption.

I bought my 365 in October 2013 as my "larger" saw for felling trees over 16" or so. It is my first Husqvarna product. I have not used this saw extensively, maybe 10 tanks of fuel, but every time I use it I am impressed. Even with a chain that is less than perfectly sharp it cuts well in oak and maple. Pine is a breeze. I've harvested 30" pines with the 24" bar that replaced the stock 20". My current everyday saw is a Jonsered 2245 with a 16" bar (also made by Husqvarna). The Jonsered is a great saw with good power. The 365 is a beast compared to it, as it should be with 25cc more displacement.I live in Alabama so it rarely gets cold enough to affect starting conditions. Once I got in to the habit of immediately turning the switch back on after I use it to kill the engine, starting became a breeze. Until then, I left the switch in the off position and forgot to turn it back on before pulling the rope. This always flooded the saw and I couldn't start it for hours afterward. It would be nice if they had a spring-return kill switch, but it's really just a small thing that I trained myself to avoid. The saw sounds like a small dirt-bike when idling. It feels like a quality unit when in your hands when using it.The compression release is not required to start it, but I always use it. Being in my early 50s, I'm not as strong as I once was. I ALWAYS place this saw on the ground and my foot in the handle when starting. At 14+ lbs it's too heavy for me to hold and start, plus it is big enough to be unwieldy if not started on the ground... at least for me. In 2013 I got my saw for less than what they are going for now.I'm impressed and very pleased with my first Husky saw. If I need another large saw, I'll be sticking with Husqvarna.

I would not recommed the 365 chainsaw
It takes at 10 pulls to get it started. The choke is a cheap plastic pull type, that come loose often. Have replaced it twice, hasn't helped.

Best saws on the market! Hands down!
About Me Do-It-Yourself
I've had this saw for about 5 years now. I have had zero problems with it mechanically, did have an issue with some screws coming loose. I'd recommend blue loc-tite to correct that issue. Other than that it is one hell of a saw. I cut 15-30 cord of wood with it a year and have had zero issues. I've had people with Other saws help out and let me tell you what, husqvarna saws run circles around those piles . I'll be a husqvarna owner for life. We also run a 288xp. That saw is a beast! The 365 xtorq is the best of both world, light, and powerful. Would recommend to anyone. My saw starts on the 2nd or 3rd pull unlike some other saws where they claim they have to pull it 10+ times.

I have 12 saws, in this clas I have a jonsred 2166 [same specs] a echo 680[ runs awesome] the 356xtourq is a powerfull monster of a saw, I think the best in the class including dolmar-sred-stihl, if you need a non fancy real work horse buy this saw,it should last a long time just run xp oil and non ethanol gas and startron treatment, youll never have a fuel problem.very good price on my say, husky raised price today on there web sit 769-809

Great 70cc saw for a 20" bar on 3/8th
Ive owned this saw for about 18 months now & it is fantastic value. Its starts up easily & the engine revs well with a nice sound. The quality feels so much better than a certain other brand of saws I compared before buying. I like the fact there are proper screw in bungs as opposed to flippy caps although Husqvarnas are much better engineered than Stihls.I have cut several chord of fair sized oak to 24" with this saw & felled a few as well. Its versatile cross cutting full bar width no problems, just keep your chain sharp (but same for any saw). Recently I broke my small Stihls flippy fuel cap so I used the 365 for limbing instead, yes it was a tad heavy but got the job done & found it enjoyable even for a task its not really aimed at.I also use Huqvarnas Power2 fuel which saves mixing and doesn't go off as 2 stroke mix can, great saw buy with confidence.

Man up time
from Big lake ranch bc ca
This is my fourth saw mastercraft sthil and poulin being the last three as I get older my shoulder can't handle all the pulling to start them so I went into williams lake forestry products to get a new saw. They initially talked me into a referbished used 356 however day after day it would not start I even started wood stove for 2 days thinking it needed to be warm but nope no go. I returned that saw and for a few more bucks got a NEW 365 and Wow I feel the compression difference and ya it start on first pull in a stone cold garrage has a cool compression button one pushes for even Easier starting yet to use it as $&@? it starts great oh and it comes with 24" bar so I opted for a 28" bar with a skip tooth chain. Can't wait to get wood. Will update when I do. Nice job Huskavarna. Trees be very afraid now

365 has good power. It replaced a sthil310 that was way under powered.
