Husqvarna believes working outdoors is more than a livelihood: It’s a calling. That’s why, whether we’re designing a chainsaw for a forester or building a lawn mower for a landscaper, we strive for a high level of quality and workmanship. Our mission is to help hardworking people achieve their dreams.
Industry Associations and Organization Sponsorships
As a result of Husqvarna’s dedication to quality, we’ve formed relationships with prominent professional associations and training organizations. We hope to empower professionals to operate our products safely and efficiently, while supporting the industry, through our partnerships with these groups:
International Society of Arboriculture (ISA)
Through research, technology, and education, the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) promotes the professional practice of arboriculture and fosters a greater worldwide awareness of the benefits of trees. This is their passion and serves as their mission statement. ISA exists so that professionals, allied professionals, public officials, and consumers worldwide recognize the economic, environmental, and societal benefits and values of trees and their care at a cost that demonstrates the wise stewardship of resources.
Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA)
The Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) is a trade association of 2,300 tree care firms and affiliated companies and was established in 1938 as the National Arborist Association. TCIA develops safety and education programs, standards of tree care practice and management information for tree and landscape firms around the world. They provide continuing education, training, conferences and publications to promote the safe and appropriate practice of tree care.
National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP)
The National Association of Landscape Professionals is the national trade association representing nearly 100,000 landscape industry professionals in the United States, Canada and overseas. Member companies specialize in lawn care, landscape design and installation, landscape maintenance, tree care, irrigation and water management, and interior plantscaping. Members also include students, consultants, industry suppliers, state associations and affiliate members.
They are committed to helping their members achieve success through education and training and increasing professionalism through certification and accreditation.
American Green Zone Alliance (AGZA)
The American Green Zone Alliance (AGZA) is shifting on a tectonic scale on how grounds maintenance operations are executed and the technology used for this massive industry. AGZA's efforts have resulted in the creation of green-collar jobs, improved the health of grounds maintenance workers and communities, reduced negative environmental impacts on our planet, and enhanced the quality of life in AGZA Green Zone areas..
AGZA and Husqvarna
Connecting to the community
Husqvarna understands the importance of investing in the local community. Through our sponsorships and other activities, we hope to encourage sustainable economic growth and better spaces for living.
Husqvarna is a top competitor in the world of power equipment. Naturally, we love our local sports teams! We sponsor the Charlotte Hornets basketball team, the Charlotte Knights baseball team and the Charlotte Checkers hockey team.
Husqvarna Loves Parks
Husqvarna is passionate about caring for green spaces, and the “Husqvarna Loves Parks” initiative was born of that passion. Since the effort began, staff members have used Husqvarna products to improve natural areas in Australia, the Netherlands and Charlotte, North Carolina.
Connecting to the environment
Our planet faces numerous challenges over the next century, and environmental issues are among the most urgent of all. Husqvarna is dedicated to addressing these problems head on. As a global leader in battery-based robotics and power equipment, we’re proudly inventing the tools that will power the future.
Rooted in our passion for innovation and connecting people with nature, Sustainovate is Husqvarna Group’s way of integrating sustainability into every aspect of our business. As a company, we’ve made it our goal to reduce our CO2 emissions by a third by 2035.
In keeping with that mission, we built our first solar power generating facility. Located in Nashville, Arkansas, the new facility is expected to reduce our CO2 footprint by 1,000 tons during the first year of operation, and reduce it by approximately 25,000 tons over the life of the facility.
Husqvarna’s eco-friendly innovations, such as our low-emissions X-Torq® engines and power-conserving savE™ mode on our battery products, empower people to “go green” without sacrificing productivity or performance. Moreover, Husqvarna believes battery power is the energy source of the future, and we’re committed to leading the way with clean technology.
Husqvarna has lead the way in engineering and innovation for over 325 years. Never a company to be satisfied with yesterday’s accomplishments, we’re blazing a trail in the field of robotics. We believe robots represent the next technological leap forward in the green industry. As a result, we’ve spent more than 20 years developing Automower®, the most versatile and sophisticated robot lawn mower on the planet. In the coming years, we expect to see these amazing machines on residential and commercial spaces across the globe.
