'Hunt for Automower®' concludes as winner is announced

The initiative, which was launched to celebrate the release of Husqvarna Automower® 435X AWD in February, saw entrants try to guess the location of a product based on clues provided by the company over a number of weeks. Abigail guessed correctly, choosing Oberstdorf, Germany, where the 435X AWD went up and down the landing area of Heini Klopfer Schanze, the world’s third biggest ski jump slope. Abigail wins a brand new Husqvarna Automower® 435X AWD as the competition’s prize.

Extreme slope performance 

Husqvarna Automower® 435X AWD is a pioneering robotic lawnmower. An all-wheel-drive model that makes light work of lawns up to 3,500 m² and navigates obstacles, rough terrain and slopes of up to 70%.

Seeing Husqvarna Automower® technology at work for the first time at 2018’s Lincolnshire Show, Abigail was immediately impressed and could see how it would benefit her property and her partner’s family business, Rigsby Wold Holiday Cottages - part of Rigsby Farming Co Ltd.

Local Husqvarna Automower® dealer, Louth Tractors, provided the installation and ensured the product was up and running for Abigail. The dealer is trained in the product and will be able to provide support, helping to answer any questions on Husqvarna Automower® 435X AWD.

Discussing her joy of winning the new Husqvarna Automower® 435X AWD, Abigail commented: ”When I found out my first thoughts were immediate disbelief, quickly followed by elation. I was over the moon to have won the product which I was so impressed by.

”I’d consider myself a fairweather gardener, who is reluctant in bad weather and passionate when the sun shines. I’m excited to see the Automower® handle our lawn and the many slopes which have been a challenge for us in the past to mow. One slope at The Stables has a gradient of at least 60 degrees and we’re hoping the Automower® can manage that.”

Discussing the free time which she will be afforded thanks to Husqvarna Automower®, Abigail continued: ”I will now focus on establishing the next border and planting in our garden – things which I have not previously had the time to do. I hope that people who are undecided about taking the plunge to purchase Husqvarna Automower® will come and stay at The Stables and see our prize winning model in action, as I'm sure they will be as impressed as we are!”
