How to talk to Alexa to control your Automower® robotic mower
There are many ways to ask questions or give commands to Alexa. Below you will find some examples of voice commands that will help you control your mower.
To make Alexa control your Automower® robotic mower, you need to give your voice commands in English, German or French.

Start mowing
The Start command is used to override the current schedule.
Alexa will ask how long you want it to mow, unless you have already said so. Note that if your mower is charging, it may not start directly. Instead it will wait until the battery is fully charged until it starts mowing.

Pause
The Pause command does what it sounds like: It pauses your robotic mower where it is, until you give it a new command.
Note that using a Pause voice command does not equal pressing the STOP button on your mower. When you use a Pause voice command, you can easily restart your mower from the Automower® Connect app, with an IFTTT applet or an Alexa voice command. But if someone has pressed the STOP button on your mower, you have to enter the PIN code on the robotic mower keypad and close the hatch to start the mower again.

Resume mowing (according to schedule)
Use the Resume command to let your robotic mower resume mowing according to the current schedule, for example if it has been paused or parked previously.
This command does not mean that your robotic mower will start mowing, unless the schedule says it should be mowing right now.

Park until next scheduled run
Use the Park command to make your robotic mower go back to its charging station and stay there during this mowing session.
When the next scheduled mowing session starts (for example the following day), the park command is not valid anymore and your robotic mower will start mowing your lawn again.

Park for X hours
You can also tell your robotic mower to park for a specified number of hours. When the specified time has passed, the mower will mow according to schedule again.

Park until further notice
Tell your robotic mower to park until further notice if you want your robotic mower to go back to its charging station and stay there until you give it a new command.
This command differs from the normal park command, as it overrides the following scheduled runs as well. This means that if you tell your robotic mower to park until further notice, it will not start mowing again on the next scheduled mowing session.

Status
The status command gives you a brief update on what your robotic mower is doing right now, as well as some information on when your robotic mower will start mowing again if it is parked in the charging station.

Set active mower
If you have more than one robotic mower added to your Automower® Connect account, you have to set which one to use as the active robotic mower. The active robotic mower is the robotic mower that you are commanding at that moment. If you need to change which robotic mower is active, for example if you are going to your summer house where the other mower is located, you can use these commands as well.
Note: Which mower you control with your voice commands has to be set actively by you. The mower selected in your Automower® Connect app is not synchronised to your Alexa account.

Get active mower
This command tells you which robotic mower is active now, i.e. which robotic mower you control when you give Alexa a command.

Next start time session
Use the Next start time command if you want to know when your robotic mower will leave its charging station and start mowing again.
Note: Your robotic mower's time zone must be set correctly and equal to what you have set in your Alexa app, otherwise the date and time that Alexa gives you may be wrong.

Other commands
Of course, you can ask Alexa any standard phrases, such as Please repeat, Help me, Cancel and so on.
