Why does my Automower® robotic lawn mower suddenly only mow half or parts of my lawn?
There are a few reasons why your Automower® robotic lawn mower suddenly may start operating on only half of your lawn or skipping parts of your lawn completely. To troubleshoot the situation, check the following:
Charging station connections
Problems may arise if a guide wire is connected to the AR or AL pin on the charging station (instead of G1/G2/G3). For example, if guide wire 1 is connected to the AL pin instead of the G1 pin, its signal will be understood as a part of the boundary wire signal. This will allow the robotic lawn mower to mow only the area inside the loop formed by guide wire 1 and the boundary wire section going out from the AR connector. The rest of the area inside the installation will not be cut.
To remedy this, verify that the connectors are connected correctly to the charging station pins.

Lawn coverage settings
The problem may arise if the lawn coverage settings do not correspond to the needs of the installation. Verify that the lawn coverage settings are correct.
In the Automower® Connect app: Select More > Settings > Installation > Lawn Coverage.
On the mower display: Navigate to Installation > Lawn Coverage.
Work areas and schedules — AIM Technology
Only applies to robotic lawn mowers that support AIM Technology,
Problems may arise if you have deactivated the schedule for My Lawn in the Automower® Connect app. In this case, the mower will only cut the parts of your lawn that are covered by a scheduled work area. If any part of your lawn is covered by a work area without a schedule, or not covered by a work area at all, that part of your lawn will not be cut.
If you have deactivated My Lawn, make sure that you create work areas that cover your entire lawn and create schedules for each work area as desired.
Stay-out zones — AIM Technology
Only applies to robotic lawn mowers that support AIM Technology,
Problems may arise if you have created a stay-out zone using the Automower® Connect app. In this case, the robotic lawn mower cannot access that area.
Check your stay-out zones and remove any unwanted stay-out zones.
