Terms and Conditions
By entering the competition, all entrants agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions after careful reading and full understanding:
- Competition entries will open 7:00am 04/09/24 and will close 11:59pm on 22/09/2024 (the “Entry Period”).
- This competition will take place Instagram.
- The competition is open to Australian residents, aged 18+, only who own a Husqvarna Automower® robotic lawn mower (the “Entrants”).
- Husqvarna Staff, Dealers and Retailers are not permitted to Enter the competition.
- Participation in this competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
- Entrants may enter as many times as they wish.
- To participate in this competition, an Entrant shall submit a photo or video entry (the “Entry”) for the competition within the Entry Period, showcasing any Husqvarna Automower® model in the residential range and also meeting the following requirements:
(1) When Entrants submit their entry, they must do the following:
i. Choose a topic and take a photo or video.
ii. Post your entry to your Instagram page and use hashtag #AutomowerCompAU
iii. Tag & follow @husqvarnaaustralia Instagram.
(2) The photo or video submission must depict one of the following topics:
i. Tell us why you love your Automower® robotic lawn mower.
ii. Tell us why you would recommend Automower® robotic lawn mower to your family and friends
iii. Tell us what the best feature of your Automower® robotic lawn mower is and why.
iv. Give your Automower® robotic lawn mower a rating out of 5 stars and why. - Winning Entries will be judged and determined by Husqvarna based on factors such as creativity and content quality, and Husqvarna will choose 10 winners (the “Winners”) who will receive a prize valued at $198.95 (the “Prize”):
• Husqvarna Cleaning and Maintenance Kit: $59.95
• Husqvarna Automower® 45pc Blades: $139.00
The Prize is non-transferable, and no cash alternative will be offered. - Entries will be judged between 23/09/2024 – 24/09/2024 by Husqvarna at its sole discretion, and the decision on the winning Entries made and announced by Husqvarna will be final and binding with no negotiations and/or correspondence will be entered into. Winners will be contacted by private message on Instagram announced on Instagram by 5:00pm 25/09/2024.
- Should a Winner not be able to be contacted by October 1st, 2024 or declines acceptance of the Prize, that person's right to the prize will be deemed to have been waived and the Prize will be forfeited.
- Entrants hereby agree and acknowledges that, by submitting a photo or video entry in this competition, a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to use the photo or video which Entrants submit for the Competition (the “Content”) is granted to Husqvarna, including but not limited to copying, editing, modifying, publishing, and displaying the Content, and creating, copying, editing, modifying, publishing, and displaying derivative works, whether for commercial or non-commercial purposes. And to the largest extent permitted by law, Entrants agree to waive any rights or claims that Entrants may have against Husqvarna in connection with such use, including without limitations any claims based on invasion of privacy and/or infringement of other legitimate rights.
- Entrants must ensure that submitted entries are original and that any materials such as music and images used in the entries do not infringe upon any copyrights. Disqualification and responsibility will be incurred if entries contain false information or infringing content.
- Submitted entries must not contain any explicit, violent, or illegal content that violates local regulations.
- The Promoter may collect personal information ("PI") in order to conduct the competition and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers and suppliers. Participation in this offer is conditional on providing this PI. PI will be stored on the Promoter's database. The Promoter is bound by the Australian Privacy Principles in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and its Privacy Policy which is located at https://www.husqvarna.com/au/privacy-notice/. In addition to any use that may be outlined in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, the Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the PI for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the claimant. The Privacy Policy also contains information about how claimants may opt out, access, update or correct their PI, how these individuals may complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with. Unless otherwise indicated by the Promoter, the Promoter may disclose PI to entities outside of Australia (for a list of the countries, see the Promoter’s Privacy Policy), and cannot guarantee that any overseas recipient will not breach the Australian Privacy Principles. By entering the competition entrants consent to the overseas transfer on these terms as permitted by the Australian Privacy Principles and agree that the Promoter is not liable in this regard.
- The Promoter is not responsible for any technical issues, including but not limited to computer, network, or internet problems that may affect entry into the competition.
