If you are looking for a smaller zero-turn for smaller jobs, this one works great! A bit pricey up-front but for a quality tractor you can't beat Husqvarna!

Belt assembly needs twecking really bad or deck assembly
The mower runs and cuts great when it runs. I purchased this mover Brand New straight off the truck 40min into it's first cut the belt broke. Now my nightmare begins. Sears sent 4 belts over period of 4.5 weeks. ALL OF THEM WHERE WRONG!!. I finally found a Husqvaran dealership which ordered me the correct one. Ok, I'm cutting again this time 1 hour belt breaks again.Gheez! Called back to Husqvanrna Dealer ordered 2 belts. This time belt broke after 25 min of cutting. I adjusted cutting to level "E" now it cuts fine HIGH. If you like a low cut this 0-turn is not the one for you. AAARRGGGHH!!!!

DISAPPOINTED IN THIS PURCHASE
I purchased the RZ 4219 July 8th, got it home the same day and read all the instructions set everything up and the first time I used it on my front lawn which is flat and level the belt broke. I finished the front yard before it completly shredded off. It has been sitting ever since.

Bought my rz4219 at Sears. They only had the model with the 57 inch deck. I asked if the units were identical other than deck size and engine and was told yes. $$$ bucks later I'm not a happy cutter. This machine is poorly designed (deck adjustment bolts are almost criminal) and they even seemed to screw up the decals. It share's little in common with its bigger brothers....everything is smaller.....and more flimsy. The mower size is smaller. The engine is a single cylinder B&S (not bad just not what I was told) and the deck has no anti scalping wheels. As with others....the deck is wayyy out of level. Also, there is no trailer hitch. They did go to town on their logo sticker..... not that they should be proud of their product. In hindsight, there are much better values out there. I know this is a case of buyer beware....so buyer beware.

Factory set-up POOR!!!!
Received two RZ4219 within a month, which the blade belt broke within 2 minutes on both. Deck is 2" out of level. Sears techs have sent me 4 and yes 4 FOUR wrong belts.

Deck belt blues
I found this site after 2 hours on the phone with Sears. I will gladly update the product rating as soon as someone fixes my mower. I bought the lawnmover over two months ago and have used it for 5 minutes. The belt was put on wrong and shedded. Now, all I need is a new belt, sounds simple enough. All of Sears books have the wrong belt number. I am on my 3rd service visit, no belt, no mower. Husqvarna, please contact me and send me a deck belt for the RZ4219. I have been push mowing my new one acre lot for 2 months and I am tired.

I purchased this mower 3 years ago. I have about 1/2 acre of grass to mow. Since day 1 I've had problems with the mower. I noticed almost immediately that the chute and bagger system would get bogged down with grass but I figured it was because the grass was a little wet. That problem continues. Unless I mow twice a week with the blades in the topmost position, I'm constantly stopping to clear impacted grass from the chute. Also, for some unknown reason the boot that fits over the grass chute became warped and didn't fit right. I purchased another and it still didnt fit right. The boot kept falling into the blades and getting chewed up. I've had to have the bagging system welded twice because it collapsed during routine mowing. I guess grass clippings are too heavy for this mower. The motor runs well but the rest of the mower is a complete joke, the bagger system is completely useless and the parts are flimsy and poorly constructed. I would never purchase another one of these products.

RZ4219 19.5 hp 42"
We had a RZ3815 for 8 years so comparing this to that model it is a bit more powerful and of course with wider deck mows our flat yard of an acre and a half quicker than the old one. Over all is a great zero turn mover. We had a problem with the belt at first, possibly not put on right. Short version of long story. Bought from Sears ,belt on backorder through them.Called Husqvarna and they were so helpful to resolve the problem. Other than the belt if you have a bumpy yard go slower over those areas because the height adjustment lever may pop out of the groove. Has manual deck engage lever which we had a button we pulled on the RZ3815, so kind of miss that and the new one doesnt have a box to carry things over the engine like the RZ3815.
