Deck belt blues I found this site after 2 hours on the phone with Sears. I will gladly update the product rating as soon as someone fixes my mower. I bought the lawnmover over two months ago and have used it for 5 minutes. The belt was put on wrong and shedded. Now, all I need is a new belt, sounds simple enough. All of Sears books have the wrong belt number. I am on my 3rd service visit, no belt, no mower. Husqvarna, please contact me and send me a deck belt for the RZ4219. I have been push mowing my new one acre lot for 2 months and I am tired. May 23, 2012
Very displeased I purchased this mower 3 years ago. I have about 1/2 acre of grass to mow. Since day 1 I've had problems with the mower. I noticed almost immediately that the chute and bagger system would get bogged down with grass but I figured it was because the grass was a little wet. That problem continues. Unless I mow twice a week with the blades in the topmost position, I'm constantly stopping to clear impacted grass from the chute. Also, for some unknown reason the boot that fits over the grass chute became warped and didn't fit right. I purchased another and it still didnt fit right. The boot kept falling into the blades and getting chewed up. I've had to have the bagging system welded twice because it collapsed during routine mowing. I guess grass clippings are too heavy for this mower. The motor runs well but the rest of the mower is a complete joke, the bagger system is completely useless and the parts are flimsy and poorly constructed. I would never purchase another one of these products. May 23, 2012
RZ4219 19.5 hp 42" We had a RZ3815 for 8 years so comparing this to that model it is a bit more powerful and of course with wider deck mows our flat yard of an acre and a half quicker than the old one. Over all is a great zero turn mover. We had a problem with the belt at first, possibly not put on right. Short version of long story. Bought from Sears ,belt on backorder through them.Called Husqvarna and they were so helpful to resolve the problem. Other than the belt if you have a bumpy yard go slower over those areas because the height adjustment lever may pop out of the groove. Has manual deck engage lever which we had a button we pulled on the RZ3815, so kind of miss that and the new one doesnt have a box to carry things over the engine like the RZ3815. May 18, 2012
