I am happy with this purchase, cut my mowing time in half, and the grass looks great. I am a little disappointed that for the price of this mower the armrests are a 40.00 add on feature

Can't wait until Spring!!
We purchased the RZ4219 at the end of our fall and only "cruised" on it once before bedding it down for winter. It replaced a Sears Craftsman lawn mower that was NOT that manuverable so I can't wait to mow the grass with this one.

my review RZ4219
New to O turn and it is taking me some time to get use to the controls but I am getting better. Have used it 3 times so far and it is working great. I can now cut the whole lawn in less than hour where by had it took 4hr and with a regular ride mower 2.5hr.
So far it is great.

This is the worst lawn mower I have owned
Bought this and 2 days later the belt broke after 2 weeks in the shop I brought it home used it for 30 minutes and the cable broke for the blade clutch now it has been in the shop for a week waiting on the part to come in which is not covered by the warranty. Do not buy this. I will never buy anything from this company again

Not what I expected for the $$
Got this mower at in August of 2012 for the new house. Was excited with the speed of cutting the lawn. Bought the bagger attachment also. Started up great this spring but had always noticed a little hum from the left acceleration handle when engaged. Depending on the positioning of the two handles, there would be a dead spot where the handles would have to be moved back or forth to get it engaged to move. Now going up slopes it hesitates. Just had it picked up. Not happy with a purchase of a trusted name that I thought would last me a long time. Also when I use the dual basket bagger, only the far bag from the chute fills.

The deck belt comes off constaintly then the belt got chewed up and broke. It is very hard to find a replacement belt unless you order it offline which costs almost $50. I bought this mower brand new and mowed twice.

Belt broke on first cutting, got a new belt and it started shred had a few beers studded the deck layout and found that the belt guid (as you stand In front looking at the mower) on the right side was not installed correctly. The belt guid needs to be installed perpendicular to the deck and the flat end is made with a fork end which needs to be slid around the nut which holds the return spring and brake arms. If this is not done the belt guard arm will rotate counter clockwise and the belt will jump the idler pulley

Belt breaking problem
First observation is the belt for the blade drive is extremely long and expensive.
A belt guide was installed wrong at the factory which caused the belt to bind and be cut the first time engaged.
I purchased this unit in August and had it in and out of the shop until December. I finally diagnosed the problem myself and got it fixed. The belt guide on the left side of the deck was 90 degrees off so any bounce would tangle the belt.
I have owned three other zero-turn mowers but they all had PTO engagement. I will only buy mowers with PTO engagement in the future.
