RZ4219 The deck belt comes off constaintly then the belt got chewed up and broke. It is very hard to find a replacement belt unless you order it offline which costs almost $50. I bought this mower brand new and mowed twice. May 19, 2013
Belt problems Belt broke on first cutting, got a new belt and it started shred had a few beers studded the deck layout and found that the belt guid (as you stand In front looking at the mower) on the right side was not installed correctly. The belt guid needs to be installed perpendicular to the deck and the flat end is made with a fork end which needs to be slid around the nut which holds the return spring and brake arms. If this is not done the belt guard arm will rotate counter clockwise and the belt will jump the idler pulley May 11, 2013
Belt breaking problem First observation is the belt for the blade drive is extremely long and expensive. A belt guide was installed wrong at the factory which caused the belt to bind and be cut the first time engaged. I purchased this unit in August and had it in and out of the shop until December. I finally diagnosed the problem myself and got it fixed. The belt guide on the left side of the deck was 90 degrees off so any bounce would tangle the belt. I have owned three other zero-turn mowers but they all had PTO engagement. I will only buy mowers with PTO engagement in the future. March 8, 2013
Fast Cut Cut my mowing time by half . There is no time lost like with regular riders . I have a lot of objects , structures , etc. on my property , this mower does the job perfectly . December 29, 2012
Great Mower If you are looking for a smaller zero-turn for smaller jobs, this one works great! A bit pricey up-front but for a quality tractor you can't beat Husqvarna! September 29, 2012
Belt assembly needs twecking really bad or deck assembly The mower runs and cuts great when it runs. I purchased this mover Brand New straight off the truck 40min into it's first cut the belt broke. Now my nightmare begins. Sears sent 4 belts over period of 4.5 weeks. ALL OF THEM WHERE WRONG!!. I finally found a Husqvaran dealership which ordered me the correct one. Ok, I'm cutting again this time 1 hour belt breaks again.Gheez! Called back to Husqvanrna Dealer ordered 2 belts. This time belt broke after 25 min of cutting. I adjusted cutting to level "E" now it cuts fine HIGH. If you like a low cut this 0-turn is not the one for you. AAARRGGGHH!!!! September 23, 2012
DISAPPOINTED IN THIS PURCHASE I purchased the RZ 4219 July 8th, got it home the same day and read all the instructions set everything up and the first time I used it on my front lawn which is flat and level the belt broke. I finished the front yard before it completly shredded off. It has been sitting ever since. September 3, 2012
Buyers Remorse Bought my rz4219 at Sears. They only had the model with the 57 inch deck. I asked if the units were identical other than deck size and engine and was told yes. $$$ bucks later I'm not a happy cutter. This machine is poorly designed (deck adjustment bolts are almost criminal) and they even seemed to screw up the decals. It share's little in common with its bigger brothers....everything is smaller.....and more flimsy. The mower size is smaller. The engine is a single cylinder B&S (not bad just not what I was told) and the deck has no anti scalping wheels. As with others....the deck is wayyy out of level. Also, there is no trailer hitch. They did go to town on their logo sticker..... not that they should be proud of their product. In hindsight, there are much better values out there. I know this is a case of buyer beware....so buyer beware. July 12, 2012
