HUSQVARNA RZ3016 4.2 5 40 40
RZ3016 I selected the RZ3016 because of it's width. I have narrow gates and the smallest riding mower was too wide to easily fit thru a 4' gate. The RZ3016 easily fits through the gates even with a 966476901 Grass Collector installed. I am happy with the quality, ease of operation and manueverability of the mower. I did have a problem with the Cover on the Collector staying latched and grass clippings were blowing out and at times one of the Containers would fall off and I didn't notice this until I turned the mower. I was able to make the cover latch tight by removing the Center End Cap which covers the additional Spacer added to the Bagger Frame. See Page 8, #4 in the Collector Operations and Parts Manual. Good Small zero turn! Great mower, small and nimble. It will go just about any where. Very pleased with the cut and handling. Would like to have had arm rests and electric blade engagement for the price! The optional mulch cover works well and it"s easy to install. The arm rest kit will not work on this mower. The parking brake and seat set-up are not made for them. June 19, 2012
This product is a great ztr. This mower is easy to handle around bushes. I would definitely recomend the3016 ztr for the smaller yards. May 30, 2012
Putting the Fun Back in Mowing This machine makes it FUN to mow my lawn! It is agile, responsive, and quick! I compare it to sailing a sailboat versus driving a power boat. You are actively involved, which keeps you interested and never bored! May 20, 2012
Love this mower I've used it a couple times now It's the best mower I've had cuts my time down to nothing can't wait till Sunday my only day off to mow. Used to hate mowing. April 6, 2012
Agile and Fast My RZ3016 is very agile and super fast. It has performed suberbly. During my first moving the mower belt broke. When I went to the dealer to get a replacement, the dealer said to bring the mower back and they would replace the belt at no charge. I was extremely impressed with the professionalism of my dealer, Thomasville Saw Company. They have a great service department. I will only buy from a servicing dealer. No big box stores for me. This is by far the best mower that I have ever used. April 6, 2012
So far really good I have only used the RZ-3016 twice but I am really glad I made the choice for the smaller cut. I get to enjoy it more because It does not cut the yard as fast! Plus I can get through the gates and over the bridge and it only has one blade! I love it and I hope it will give me many years of great service as have all my other HUSQVARNA products. I also lie the pull up handle to engage the blade as I like to start it slowly. Also, with one blade and a non-floating deck I am getting a great looking even cut! April 1, 2012
When it starts it's great. I wouldn't recommend this mower at this time. Depends upon the outcome of this repair or if it's going to be a continuing repair. I bought this mower new the middle of last summer (2011) for over 2 grand. Great mower, I was the envy of the neighborhood for a short time. Used it 3 times and it wouldn't start the 4th. Carried it back to the dealer who kept it several weeks and said a valve "cap" fell off inside the valve cover. Didn't make much sense to me but it was now starting and I was happy, except they didn't use a valve gasket for the valve cover. They used a liquid gasket that hardened but it didn't look very professional. But now it's time to get up my leaves and it won't start. Carried it back to the dealer last week. I just called and he said it's not fixed and has more valve problems that are creating compression issues....BTW, this is a brand new engine. He's trying to adjust the valves and I don't know exactly when I'll get it back or if this valve problem will continue to haunt me....and this thing is hard to push when it doesn't start. My wife and I are 58 years old and it takes both of us to push it on the trailer. Very disappointed so far. January 20, 2012
