Farm Tested I purchased one of these mowers in August of 2014, and after using it all this season feel that I can leave an informed review. Last year I moved back to the family farm after living in the suburbs for the last ten years. I am now responsible for mowing about four acres weekly as well as mowing other parts of the farm every couple of weeks. Overall I am very satisfied with this mower. It has good power, and does good job overall on the lawn. Often times I mow along side my father with his diesel zero turn from the other orange mower maker. His mower cost about 5K more than this one cost me and the cut is very comparable, his unit does have so nice features that mine does not like easy access to the under side of the deck, power deck lift and a fuel gauge. The only one of these that annoys me is the lack of a fuel gauge, This needs to be standard on this class of mower period for a five star review! The pros of my PZ 60 vs the other orange mower is the gas mower is much lighter and does not get stuck in ditches where my fathers does. The clippings on my PZ60 are spread nice and evenly where his tend to clump up in big windrows. Overall I love the construction of this mower it is made from very heavy materials where needed and was a much better value to me vs other mowers and brands I considered. The Kawasaki engine is rock solid and has plenty of power to do the job well and still maintains good fuel economy, I use less than three gallons of gas on the large yard I mow. I was able to finance this mower for 0% with a good finance company that I have worked with before. I would buy this mower again in the future if I needed to. As a side not my cousin runs a professional lawn care company and has one of these that is about 5 years old other than an electrical issue when he first purchased it used with has had no trouble with at all. He even pushes snow with it! All and all a good value for the money. June 26, 2015
Circles around my old John Deere I've been commercially mowing for 14 years and used nothing but John Deeres in 2013 bought 2 of these and over 800 hours a piece later there running great. With the usual maintenance and there cheaper to buy and operate April 25, 2015
Middle of the road I have mixed emotions on my PZ 6034. I purchased mine out of state for an exceptional price compared to the other brand of orange mower. The PZ 6034 is a beast at mowing. I can mow a 2 acre empty lot in less than 36 minutes. It's built tough enough to handle the bumpiest lawns I've encountered and come back for more punishment. The only problem is parts availability. Replacement blades can be an aftermarket brand since I can't get genuine Husqvarna locally. I recently had a spindle bearing go bad at 58.9 hours. I can't find the parts. I contacted the selling dealer out of state and they claimed that it's not a warranted part. I called customer service and they informed me that it was under warranty but it would be at least 4 to 6 weeks for the parts to come in..... beautiful. If you buy one, be sure that you are near a servicing dealer. I strongly suggest that you ask for availability on the usual wear and tear items including bearings before you commit. September 9, 2013
Cutting time cut by 1/3 We own a small farm with over 5 acres of cut lawn. I had been mowing with a collection of a 1957 massey ferguson To35 with a 6' deck and two 42" cut Home Depot series tractors. The cut time with trimming was 3 hours. We finished the entire lawn, with a beautiful cut, in 1 hr, 10 min. with our new PZ60FX. Thank you, I can go fishing again instead of being that guy that is always cutting grass! May 18, 2013
well not happy loved this mower the day i bought it. well i bought it this monday 4/30/12 mowed the next tuesday put a few hours on it. mowed today 5/3/12 and a wheel motor went out about 2 hours into my mowing. im not happy about it at all as the mower only had 5 hours on it. hoping my dealer makes it right( which they seem to be trying) and also hope this isnt going to repeat itself. as i went from an exmark to this thinking it was soo much better. Great mower Purchased my PZ6029FX one month ago and I'm loving it. The mower is built very well and I'm really liking the way it rides and handles. While I own other Husqvarna equipment, I was not familiar with their ZT mowers. I tried mulitple other mowers, including my fathers John Deere, before trying the Husqvarna. I was immediately impressed with the handling, comfort and the power of the 29HP Kawasaki engine. The dealer I purchased from had plenty of ZT makes and models to choose from. Choosing the Husqvarna, I believe I got the most mower for my money. I'm very pleased! February 21, 2012
Great Machine! Started a Lawn care business with a ExMark ZTR thought it was great but when it came time for a new one I tried a few top name brands and Husqvarna has beat them all by far. This machine cuts wet grass without clumping, gives a very nice stripe strait from the factory, very comforable, smooth hydraulics, construction is beyond heavy duty in fact some areas are overkill. the list could go on and on but I think you get the point. When it's time to upgrade my ExMark Walk Behind it'll be a Husqvarna. August 14, 2011
Husqvarna vs. John Deere This zero turn mower will do circles around my JD 777. I highly recommend this mower because it is user friendly and comfortable and for the high performance. August 9, 2011
