HUSQVARNA PZ 54 4 5 1 1
Great Product/Poor Power I have 6 Zero Turns, 4 Toro's, 2 Husky's. I love the Husky's, but there are a few Cons to this model. Nothing toward Husqvarna, just the power plant, the all new EFI Kohler 27. I've been in the business for over 13 years. 120 accounts, so I am very familiar with all the choices on power. I decided to go with the EFI Kohler 27. The dealer said you will save money on this model with the new fuel injection, great sign me up I'll take it, but I love my Kawasaki's after all these years. They have plenty of power and the longevity is proven. I promise you will like this new Kohler 27. Well after 260 hrs. it is the weakest engine I have ever seen on a Zero Turn. I can cut right beside a 19 hp Kaw. 52" and the Kohler 27 54" bogs down quicker. And on fuel savings, none. You have to run the Kohler wide open to keep it from losing RPM, and the Kawasaki 25 HP can run at half throttle and never lose RPM. But the Husky product is hands down better, I will buy another, but not with a Kohler. June 15, 2015
