Best mower I ever owned
I purchased my MZ5424SR ZT from Lowes several months ago. The only difference in the MZ5424SR and the MZ5424S as I see it is the role bar. I mow about three acres now. I used to push mow around house and buildings but now with the ZT I can mow everything. The ZT lets me mow in very close places. In some reviews I noticed some have problems mowing on slopes. I have a ditch that is about four foot deep and never have any problem BUT DON'T RECOMEND. My yard now looks like it is really mowed. I was using a 54 in. 27 hp craftsman for several years. It never cleared the grass in the third cutting area. I had to stop and clean the deck several times on each mowing The way I could tell when to clean it out it started leaving streaks between second and third blade, yes the grass was dry. It also left uneven cuts. Now with my ZT I am very proud of my yard just sorry I didn't buy one years ago the best purchase I have made love my HUSQVARNA MZ5424S ZT

Purchased this zero turning MZ5424SR riding mower from Lowes. It was setup right ,no problems. Cuts grass very well at high speeds, use on flat ground only. Rough riding. Purchased a bagger that works great. Now I'm waiting on some lights to come in. (on backorder) Overall I would purchased this mower again.

Great machine for the price.
After a lot of research I decided to go with the Husqvarna MZ5424S, I am very happy with it so far the machine is a work horse and mows beautifully. I did have a slight problem once when I shut it off without putting the controls into neutral and putting the parking brake on when I went to start it wouldn't turn over even after I put all safety devices on it still wouldn't turn over. After checking everything out I finally decided to put a jump pack right to the starter and it started, I have not had the problem since. Like I said I love the machine and would recommend it to anyone it is an awesome piece of equipment.

Really nice mower
I sold my 10 year old john deere tractor mower which was a still a very solid machine but I was looking for a zero turn as I have about 2 acres on my acreage and another 3 across the road that I mow a few times a year. Looked at some more expensive machines and some cheaper ones. I really like the commercial transmission and the large tires. Seems to be the right blend of heavy duty and homeowner.
The first time I mowed I was smiling the whole time! This thing is fast and mows very nice. Much of the property is very weedy and tough to mow but this machine powers through it easily. Only about 3 hours on the mower now but as first impressions go I am very happy with my purchase. I feel that with proper maintenance this should last 10 years like the mower it replaced.

Excellent performance and big difference between this beast and the 26 horsepower Craftsman riding mower I have. It cut the timefrom 5 hours to a little bit over 2 hours mowing 6.5 acres. Amazing results and pure enjoyment that actually made me want to do the mowing with no time restraints or any problems.

I have been using zero turn mowers since 1989..This is by far the best zero turn on the market for the homeowner and light commercial user...It is so easy to control..has plenty of power with the Kawasaki engine...and it looks awesome...Really a Super product...

Very strong machine!
I mow 3.5 acres with lots to go around. This mower has everything I need. Plenty of power to go up and down huge hill in backyard. The ZT3100 transmission is smooth, lots of torque. Stamped deck has great lift and throw, leaving no wind rows behind. Frame is built like a truck, doesn't flex like the competitors I tried out. Takes me about 1.5-2 hours to mow, but I take my time. Love this mower, buy one, you can't go wrong!!

My first experience with a Hasqvarna was less than wonderful.
Had a problem with starting and after 5 repairs, it was replaced. The new ZTR runs great but my first experience was less than stellar.
