HUSQVARNA 327LDx 4.7 5 20 20
Works great Trimmer has perfect balance. Pole saw attachment and hedge trimmer attachment work great and have saved me much time and effort. May 9, 2015
Lightweight, powerful & handles great I donated my 326LDx to my church and got a new 327LDx. My attachments: trimmer, brush cutter, edger, hedge trimmer & pole saw all work with this trimmer. The newer attachments have a tab that makes changing from trimmer to edger, etc easier and more positive. This trimmer is not a powerhouse, but the power is more than sufficient for all my attachments. It seems a little heavier than the 326LDx, but still among the lighter trimmers on the market. I highly recommend! October 10, 2014
You Gotta Try One! Folks I've been using string trimmers on and around my farm since 1978. This trimmer is top notch quality and performs without a hitch! I see some bad reviews and can't help wondering if the noted problems aren't just owner operator error and not the rated product itself. If you follow the manufacturers guidelines and operators instructions (you know that black and white book that has "Owners/Operators Manual" on the front) and perform a little maintenance you will have no problems!! You only have to be 3% smarter than the equipment you are working with! June 14, 2014
Not happy I used it out of the box, first time, it's hard to balance and cutting was a chore. You have to hold it flat down, it doesn't want to cut at an angle. Second time i went to use it, it wouldn't start, following the proper starting directions. Wound up pulling the starter rope off the wheel, and had to take it back to the retailer to fix at my cost, even with the extended warranty in place. August 10, 2013
Great trimmer! Husky quality all the way. This isn't a cheap trimmer and it shows in the quality. Has a ton of power and can swing the heavy trimmer line with no problem. Starts up easy and runs strong. I havn't tried any of the attachments i can get for it yet but plan on getting a couple of them. I'm sure they work very well. The handles are comfy and the anti vibe handle works very well at damping. The plastic parts are all heavy built... not cheap stuff that comes on average trimmers. I'm sure this trimmer will last for years to come. On the flip side of things it is a tad heavy but this is no problem. Its also a bit noisy but that is to be expected and I don't see anything wrong with that considering the heavy duty power it has. October 13, 2012
Easy for Small Woman I'm 65, 5'2", 108 lbs and delighted with 1st-ever Husqv. The 327LD cranks easily, well-balanced, powerful - great for our 2+ acres in semi-rural setting w/drainage ditch, drive and walkways and routine trimming around generous landscaping. July 24, 2012

Week 1 review.... So I have been searching for this dream machine brush cutter/weed thrasher that can handle the 4 acre apple orchard I call home. We are going on our 3rd year living here and have been battling vines, poison ivy, briar thickets, brush and weeds of all types and sizes you name it I got it...all of which have grown up and around these 50 year old apple trees. I purchased the 327ldx last week to aid in my battle of taming the wild (my yard and surrounding property grow weeds just like the commercial) and I will so far give it a thumbs up....with a few exceptions. After being advised that I was going to need a straight shaft trimmer to handle any type of weed blade I settled on the 327ldx model mainly because it was the biggest one I could get that would still come apart to accept attachments. (Once I uncover the trees the pole saw attachment will be nice to trim and prune them with) I originally started with some type of "heavy duty" string the salesman said would work because it has a wire running through it. He was wrong. I wanted to get away from string....I was tired of it constantly breaking, the brush is just too thick for it. So I tried a tri cut metal weed blade - its the kind that pivot on a trimmer head. So far I am pleased with these results. The motor has plenty of power, it breezes through tall thick grass, cattails, grapevines, thin saplings. Throttle control around rocks and larger trees will keep the blades cutting long after I would have used a couple spools of string. I have to say that at 400 bucks it would be nice to see a little less plastic. The trigger seems like it could easily snap if handled the least bit incorrect. Lots of plastic housing too, although it seems solidly built for plastic. The support flange that fits over the shaft gets dirt/grit under the lip causing a crunching sound when you press the throttle...perhaps this is normal? So far it hasn't affected performance. Starts easily, runs quiet. I did get a minor side pain after an hour or so of constant use so I would say its light enough, however a harness really should be included for the price. I will be putting this machine through many more tests and will update the review accordingly. For now my expectations are being met and I would recommend...but its only week 1. 3.75 stars out of 5.
