HUSQVARNA 128L 4.5 5 244 244
This is a strong trimmer for the price. It is easy to crank and will mow through the toughest weeds. April 4, 2011
Don't waste your money Fuel line broke, it is just a little plastic hose, husqvarna wants $22.00 for it if I purchase it from them, but then I can't purchase it anywhere else. They tell me I have to go to a dealer and then the two dealers they have listed as dealers and repair facilities both told me they don't deal in Husq parts or repairs because the parts are too hard to get and they are too expensive. Also, one location a equiptment rental business, said they don't rent them anymore either. So do yourself a favor, and don't purchase any husquvarna products, you will be sorry. I surely am. So I guess I'll purchase another brand where I can get simple parts for a reasonable price. July 24, 2014
Starter - Premature failure after minimal use - 128LD I had used the trimmer maybe 6-7 times when the starter cord jammed today. Of course it is out of warranty. Had I read the reviews I would have avoided Husqvarna. I replaced the starter cord on a 14 year old quality built MTD tiller last week ... hopefully I can figure out the trimmer. This seems to be a frequent problem ... Husqvarna should provide the parts for free. May 17, 2014
What an upgrade from other Brands! I've been doing my own lawn cutting for years. I've used Echo, Ryobi, and Toro trimmers. Husqvarna put them to shame. Easy to start, fuel, and use is tremendous. Purchased 3 months ago at local lawn mower establishment not a mass retailer. Reliable and durable so far. October 14, 2013
My trimmer expierence Good trimmer for people like me, the not so handy man. Loading and reloading the trim line is a big deal for us. This unit makes it easy and does not take all day. The power, and solid feel of the trimmer stands for itself. October 14, 2013
Works as I expected Great unit for the price. The longer shaft is nice for taller people. Easy starting. October 8, 2013
This product is very good Bought the Husqvarna 128LD because my other weed eater finally gave up the ghost. We went to Lowe's and I spent about an hour looking at all the trimmers they had. I choose this one because I can get attachments and it had a 28cc motor. It ran great right out of the box. I did purchase the pre mixed fuel to get the 4 yr warranty. So far the only complaint I have is the power. It just seems that it does bog down a some when it starts to cut. Other than that I would recommend this trimmer to anyone. August 20, 2013
pull cord will not retract I bought this one year ago and it is broken already. The trimmer would not run without the choke on half way and would not stay running. After using this trimmer 8 times in the last year the pull cord will not retract any more. I took it apart and put the retraction spring back into place and it retracted twice before it stopped working again. Also the carb mixture adjustment screws need a special tool not included. Even if I fix it with new parts it is just going to break again anyway so why bother. This used to be a good brand 15 years ago but since the big box got ahold of it it is junk. I bought a new trimmer from a dealer supported manufacturer which I can't mention due to auto correct but it rhymes with steal. It is also to short and I am hunched over while operating it I am average sized. August 5, 2013
