one of the most common brand up here! Bought my 924HV during the winter (2012/2013) to replace my old crafstman...no comparison! The 924 is so easy to control that my 10 years old grandson used it quite a few times last winter and was having so much fun he insisted to do my work every time he was here when we had snow, and I'm talking about good snow storm. The assisted drive makes it so easy to use; it explains how a 10 y/o kid can operate this, mind you there was no way he could have use my old crafstman. The gas consumption is about 25% what I was used to with my older machine, and power wise it does'nt even compare. A 4 feet high snow bank pushed by the snowplow is not even a challenge for the 924HV. That is the best investment I have made in years, very happy, snow storms are never big enough now! November 9, 2013
Great Thrower Glad I bought the 924HV. Its easy to use and still powerful. We got hit with 12" of snow twice and it didn't skip a beat. It fires on the first pull and the controls are simple enough that my wife can use it if I'm at work. I would definitely recommend it. April 16, 2013
easy to use I found the 924 very easy to use. Delivered to my door with easy to follow instructions to assemble. March 22, 2013
What A Beast! There's no better time to break in a new snow thrower that right after a blizzard. Easy to understand instructions and controls made the chore much more bearable. The machine is powerful the heavy wet snow never clogged the shoot. The 924HV is an exceptional value, it cut through twenty inches of snow like a hot knife cuts through butter. February 10, 2013
What Blizzard of 2013 Replaced a Toro 1028 with this machine last month, had used it once until the Blizzard of 2013. 30 plus inches snow and this thing threw it like it was nothing very impressive. Rock solid performance great machine!! February 9, 2013
My 924HV All good so far. 1 production problem: The plastic retainer for the gas cap is installed too tight and it does not rotate while turning the cap. It twists and will fail soon due to material fatigue. The plastic parts, gas cap, electric plug cover, etc. are disapointing on a tough and expensive machine. January 26, 2013
This machine will throw! Great machine for the medium-duty service I need for my driveway and sidewalk in NW Ohio. Powers through the heavy stuff with ease. January 24, 2013
Overall, a great product I've only had a chance to use this once so far, so the durability aspect has yet to be determined. However, this product is solidly built and had no trouble with the 10 or so inches of heavy wet snow that it was used on. My only real gripe is trying to maneuver the blower is difficult on non-snowy surfaces. It would be nice if the wheels weren't locked together at all times, instead make them lock when the drive is engaged. This would make turning around much easier. All in all, I would buy this again. It might cost a bit more than others on the market, but the quality will make up for that in the long run. January 2, 2013
