Step up my game Been using a 455 for years and still happy with the saw. Wanted a saw with a little more muscle; so decided to upgrade to an XP..... Great decision! Light weight, but so much power and speed. The 562 is a life saver after hurricane Sandy and strong nor'easters. I like the ability to adjust the oiler and the vibration dampening can't be beat. I use a MS460 at work and its a handful.....tiring. I can use the 562 all day and still feel my hands...nice. Price was a bit steep; however, you get what you pay for. So far I like the autotune feature. My Husky dealer is also top notch. New England firewood does not stand a chance. November 10, 2012
Big Pine Logger What can I say about this saw it is a great product. Husq really put a lot of engineering and thought in this product. Had stopped using Husq products 288Xp,51,266xp because I thought all of the good products were gone. I was wrong from a 391,044,440 stihl user 2 years ago back to a husq man. I have owned my 562 for a year and a hafe and just ordered my 2nd one. Love it thanks for bringing back the XP. October 18, 2012
Great Saw!!! I have used a lot of saws over the years, I own over 20, and this is the best one I have ever used. It isn't as powerful as the larger XP saws, but it is, in my opinion, the best mid-range saw you can buy. I use it as a fire wood saw. It took about 4 tanks of fuel before it really started to break in. I love the looks of it as well. I would recommend this saw to anyone. I will be purchasing the new 550XP in a few months for my wife, and I bet it will be right up there as well, as one of the best. October 13, 2012
Impressive saw It's hard to describe what the difference between this saw, and comparable saws is, exactly. Unless you actually grab hold of this saw, and feel how aggressive it really is, you would not believe anything you read about it. The 562 is light, strong, tough, and surprising for a 60cc saw. If you are looking for a saw that feels like a 50cc, but performs like a 70, look no further. A colleage of mine was bucking a 30"+ log into firewood rounds with his Husky 55R. I handed him the 562, and after a few cuts, he was left speechless. Plus the saw looks cool. September 30, 2012
Impressive Chainsaw This 562XP cuts through hard maple and ash like a dream. Plenty of power and very smooth to operate. A well balanced chainsaw that makes it easier on the hands for all-day cutting. I'm glad I did months of research and settled on this 562XP. September 21, 2012
if you get a good one your golden I switched to husky around 8 years ago and have recommended there products to many ppl. (It seems when I out cut someone two to one they want to know what i use). This spring my friend started managing his family farm and asked me to recomend a good starter saw and teach him to use it. I went out and bought a 235 for him. I got it home and it wouldn't start. So i followed the instructions that came with the saw for customer service. To summarise my experience: over 4 hours on the phone, 300 miles of driving (often times i would go to the autherised service center durring their bussness hours and no one would be there), and OVER 4 MONTHS TO HAVE MY BRAND NEW SAW RUN FOR THE FIRST TIME. After all this i think husky could have exchanged the saw within the first week, or at least given me a couple free chains or something to compensate for the gas, headache, and 4 months wait time. I am interested in the 562 xp, but I think that I would be better off to look to stihl or efco for my next saw. September 12, 2012
what a saw About a month ago I puchased this saw for some real heavy duty limbing and wow is it capable of so much more, I now find myself able to hand fell with this little saw and keep up to the skidder, I can also cut up to 30 inch blowdown no problem. With a 24 inch bar this saw is all you will ever need. Power to weight ratio is fantastic and it is very erganomic. It took me awhile to figure out where it is best to keep the rakers but when I did this saw came to life It wouldnt be my first choice for felling redwoods or takeing on hunting trips but it will handle each and everything else August 26, 2012
562xp Saw does not start when warm. Husqvarna rep will not exchange with a new one and dealers are not in a position to fix them. Not the dealers fault. Do not buy this saw unless you have a lot of extra time and money to through at it. Second Husky i have had problems with over the last 10 years with zero customer support from Husqvarna, not dealers fault. Rep did not want to discuss the issue and back the product. Had a 357xp that never ran right either. August 4, 2012
