HUSQVARNA 562 XP®
Great all around saw
I was nervous about getting this saw because I had heard about people having problems with them, but i have used mine almost every day for the past 10 months and have had no problems. The 372 is a great saw and is only a pound heavier with 10 more ccs, but it is a noticeable difference for me. I do trees and brush so I have to swing the thing around all day, and how heavy it feels matters to me. It seems to rap up faster too. The autotune is great no problems no little screwdriver. It runs a lot better with just an exhaust mod too. Cured the little bit of hesitation on takeoff. I like it better than my buddy's 362 which is a great saw.

Great work saw
ive ran a few other saws on the market and I wanted a xp husky this saw ran funny for the first 15-30 minutes after that this saw really came to life it was cutting circles around my brothers ms 361 stihl. and the 562 was better balanced with 24"bar then the stihl was. if it holds up for 10 to 15 years like my old 55 rancher then husky hit a home run on this saw I got a 2013 model and short of the autotune update I had the dealer at big r in great falls do this saw is flawless and I love the power balance and easy start of it. if your looking for a great all around work saw this is the one

The saw is lightweight and a powerful pro saw, I use it almost everyday, I would recommend this product to any arborists or landscapers.

Having used a lot of saws from new most of my working life, this is by far the worst chainsaw I have ever purchased. Bought new, have had nothing but problems starting. 15-20 pulls to start if it runs out of fuel. Also lots of pulls to start if turned off and try to restart when hot or warm. Forums on web confirm this with a lot of other users. Its not just me! Now, it wont start at all! Air filter always clean. ALWAYS correct fuel mix. Also have 550XP. Has very similar problems but not quite as bad. Both saws had about 15-20 hours use, but have both been like this from new. They do run well if you can start them and KEEP them running. 550XP stops anytime at random with no warning. hard to start once again. Dealer can't help as just keeps coming back to me with same problems. waste of time and money. Never again. Autotune feature belongs in the rubbish bin as far as I'm concerned. Fed up with these saws.

nice looking saw
i have bought 4 of these saws and cannot get more than 6 months use.my current one has been in and out the shop so much that my warranty is up in march with hardly any time on it.dealer says husqvarna doesnt pay for warranty work so it sits in the corner collecting dust.the 6 month warranty goes fast.was hoping this was going to be a good tuff saw because it handles so nice

Good power to weight
This saw does most of my firewood cutting. With a 20" bar I don't mind picking this one up at the end of the day for those few pieces I missed blocking. (I'm no spring chicken anymore).
Fast cutting, good response, so far reliable with one season of cutting. I like it now, if it holds up I'll really like it.
Not quite as much torque as my Dolmar 6400, but lighter and easier to handle.
Only complaint - getting the side cover off sometimes, binds up - tight fit. If I remember to cycle the chain break handle a few times this seems to help.
Starting has been OK - maybe it's my altitude 7,000+, it likes to start on fast idle when warm.

Have only ran two tanks or premix thru it but I can safely say that I am more than thrilled with the 562XP. Have been using a 460 Rancher for a few years but just wanted more. Not needing a new saw was a bit hesitant to buy it but after using it for a few hours forgot all about being hesitant. Powerful and well balanced, cuts like it is on a mission. Should have read the manual more completely before using it the first time as the starting process is a bit different....but after using it twice it is now routine. Starts on the first pull on the choke, if I am quick enough shutting the choke off it will stay running. If not, another half hearted pull and it is up and running. When warm, fire on the first pull every time. Really like the "captured" nuts on the bar cover, no more losing them on the side of the road while changing chains.
