HUSQVARNA 390 XP® 4.7 5 12 12
this saw is uh beast I actually went to buy a 372 and the dealer was sold out. After a lot of deep thought I grabbed the 390. I had 15 sweetgums to drop the following day.... Needless to say it got broke in pretty good. This saw is super power full and with a brand new chain it cut like a light saber. After 8 hrs of work my arms were killing me because its a heavy one. If you do tree work on the reg this saw won't dissapoint you for those larger jobs. March 26, 2015
loose screws I have two saws: Stihl 201t and husky 390xp. I have never had to tighten up a screw on the 201t but on the the husky...three times so far. On the Husky it seems like they don't use torque wrenches when assembling because some of the the plastic cover screws are over tightened while the dawgs just vibrate off. It's embarrassing. My boss runs Stihl... no loose screws there. January 15, 2015
Great saw, but... I love running the 390xp. It runs smooth with lots of power, and even more with a ported muffler. The only thing that drives me (and any other Faller) is how screws rattle out so frequently and strip out. This is a major flaw, that NEEDS to be addressed. January 7, 2014
Great saw I run a small tree company in Massachusetts. I bought this saw with a 36 inch bar on it and it runs like a champ. This saw always starts minus 10 to 95 degrees don't matter. December 29, 2013
Love this saw! I am a homeowner who loves to cut firewood. I purchased this saw for the gaint "white" and "red" Oaks trees of PA. I don't have many hours on the saw, because I only use it when I drop and cut up a big tree. I love the saw so far, it has outstanding quality and power. April 13, 2013
Honestly the best commercial grade saw I have ever used! I am partial to Husqvarna's chainsaws for there ease of use and anti-vibe technology. This saw like many others I have had the opportunity to use is a beast. I operate a urban/rural tree service and I purchased mine with a 20"& 24" bar and I take it almost everywhere I go hoping for an opportunity to use it. You can cut all day with this saw but of course you need to be in shape. I love this saw and the feel of having all the power needed and more to accomplish every tree/log cutting task imaginable. Again, its a BEAST! Worth the price. I perfer my Husqvarna over Stihl any day. March 24, 2013
this saw is an animal I had alot of damage from the past 2 hurricanes to hit the east coast( ct.) My older 55 rancher stepped up to the task but there are some things it just coudn't do... So I bought the 390xp. and man I need no other saws, ate thru 32" " wet" red oak like butter, low vibe, awsome power, lust plain awsome. thanks for making great products that people can rely on. I don't know how I would have got all this cleaned up without your AWSOME chainsaws. you have a life customer!!!!! December 28, 2012
The "Chuck Norris" of chainsaws Having first hand used and seen these workhorse saws in action, they have to be one of, if not the best all-round felling saws ever made. The 3 that we use regularly never fail to start and perform flawlessly day in and day out. They have even seen use in the bucket, 65 feet off the ground... If you cut wood for a living, and haven't bought one yet, what are you waiting for??? Well worth the price... February 24, 2012
