Husqvarna 365 Special
This saw runs great! The chain tightening adjustment feels rough but it is working. The saw starts and runs great and after using it for a few hours I look forward to great service from it.

Great saw
As always , Husqvarna has made another quality saw. This is my sixth that I now currently own and going from a full-time logger to occasionally cutting firewood , I have never had a complaint with any of the Huskys I have owned over the years.

New 365 X TORQUE
I just purchased a new 372XP earlier this year to handle bigger stuff. I loved that power to weight ratio and versatility of the 372 so much I considered getting another to replace a 455 Rancher with altogether but they are a bit pricey. So I investigated the new 365 X Torque which by the way is the exact same engine as on the 372XP that is also X Torque. The only differences were the 365 has 4.9HP VS the 372 at 5.3HP (A baffle in the transfers), the air filter systems are different but can be converted, mine has only one bucking spike but again this can be added if desired, there is no silver XP logo on the filter cover (not an XP saw) and last but not least I got mine for $300 less money than a 372XP. So far the only time I have noticed a power difference is with a 28in bar pulling through a 24in. round of Mulberry (very hard wood) but it still handled it very well. My 365 X Torque now wears a 24in. bar with full chisel chain which I find to be a good combination for balance and versatility. The 372XP is an awesome saw no doubt but for someone looking to save a few bucks and still have an awesome saw look no further, you won't be disappointed.

365
I find the 365 to be an unbelievable saw. A minor amount of maintenance keeps my saw running perfectly. As per the other reviews, I don't find my saw to be a problem to start, in fact, I always amazed at how easy it is even after I haven't used the saw in months. The power is perfect for the work I need it to do. My wife found it a bit heavy to use but we ended up getting her a 345 which she totally loves. All in all, a fantastic product that has given me years of trouble free use and I don't expec that to change in the coming decades.

New Saw
This saw replaced a 1947 model. The old saw was simple and powerful. The 365 is incredible - more power, light, fuel efficient, a terrific cutting machine.

my 365
I recently bought a 365 and i love it. I use it in the woods to limb, top, and fell trees. Very nice, but a little on the heavy side for the power

i have ran sthils and the 365 is better
i started cutting wood with a 034 sthil and loved it but it was old and layed down on me. so we repalced it with ms 310 which the sthil dealer recomender and it was like cutting with a toy. so i was looking to up grade and looked at bigger sthils and hus. and hus. dealer recomender the 365. i desided to give them a try and am very happy was this saw it does ever thing i ve asked of it. when i ask a saw to work. i work it to date the biggest tree the 365 has took down is a 42 inch red oak and it done a better job at it than my old sthil and the new one by far. this is a great product. if you are thinking about this saw you will not go wrong on this one and the hus. dealer was great to me to.

Best way to compare!
I do production line clearence tree work and am always around other people that feel there saw is the best (namely stihl) well i decided to get them to put there money where there mouth is so to speak and challenged them against my stock 365.. well i ended up racing against some stihls that were around the same equivilent displacement group and beat them all.. then as my head swelled i challenged some people with bigger stihls and also dolmars... well i beat them all too!! the biggest one i beat was a stihl 44mag which i've been told is rated at approx. 88cc... btw.. i had a 24"bar on the 365 also.. So thats on the Power and Performance part... The Durability i feel goes with the Value.. when your mulching brush/cutting brush, and cutting trees down 40-50+hrs a week for 9 years and your still have not had anything break or go bad with your saw.. the value IS the durability!!
