I've been looking at the PW3100 for quite awhile and checking out on-line reviews. I knew when they went on sale I would buy one and did just that last weekend. I also used my Lowes card and got another 5% knocked off.Unboxing and setup was quick and easy. The setup instructions were easy to follow and quite good. I had a cheaper power washer that worked good for many years but after using the new PW3100 I couldn't believe how much better it was. I pay extra for good tools and this is no exception. After assembly I added oil and fuel then hooked up the water hose. This thing started right up on the second pull. It was only about 36 degrees outside and it ran beautifully. Although it seemed a bit cold blooded and had to use the choke between starts. Power is exceptional and really don't know why anyone would spend the extra money on the PW3300 with more psi... The long 40ft hose is nice to get around the car but since it was cold out I had trouble keeping the hose uncoiled. Love the power, the big gas tank and the way it looks. It was suppose to get below freezing that night so I wheeled it to my basement since I didn't have antifreeze for the pump. Actually, I would rather keep it in the basement anyway and not take the chance. I'm ready for Spring so I can put it through the paces.

Purchased PW3100 for weekend project from Lowes. After assembly noted a stream of fluid from the carburator. Since Husqvarna does not answer their cust service # on weekends I returned it to Lowes. Assembled the second unit only to find that the detergent reservoir leaked. I was able to contact customer service on Monday, they were unable to help and referred me to Briggs and Stratton where I got hung up in voice mail purgatory; still no answer. Without a doubt the most miserable service ever. At least Lowes accepted the returns without question.

My pressure washer has been outstanding. Cranks on first pull almost always. It may take 2 or 3 pulls if it has been without use for a few months. Delivers the pressure I need. I'm needing to replace the wand after several years of use but that's expected with time and use. My experience has been great!

Defective out of the box
from New Jersey
HUSQVARNA is well known and very respected that's why when I saw this model I was happy to buy it. I had read some mixed reviews, but based on the fuel capacity and the detergent reservoir I was sold.I ordered the product and after about an hour putting it together, (following all instructions of course#, I came to the part to add the fuel. Immediately after adding the fuel, I saw a stream #not drip, but stream) of fuel coming out of the air filter compartment. So obviously the product was defective right from the manufacturer.I also did not like the set up location for the pressure hose which made things cumbersome. The front wheels are not bolted to the chassis, so the moment you lift the pressure washer, the wheels come off, which is also a pain.Given the fact the product was defective coming directly from manufacturer, I didn't take any chances. I returned it immediately. If it was put together correctly, who knows what else could be wrong with it.Not recommended.

headed to lowes for the second exchange
from Valley Lee
I own a 54" Husq Garden Tractor, had it for 1 month, Great machine. A Husq 455 Rancher Chain Saw, haven't had the pleasure to use it yet. a 22" self propel rear wheels mower #still in the box#. A Husq Backpack Blower # the thing can blow you off your feet, another great buy and now 3100 pressure washer. The first 3100 I brought home had a broken water inlet tube, took it back and exchanged it for another one, got it unpacked and put together (after looking over it with like a detective#, oiled and fueled it up turned on the water to prime it, turn on the gas valve and gas drained though the carburetor another defect. called Lowes talked to the nice supervisor and returning it tomorrow. The Manufacture who ships this product to Southern Maryland is slipping

All the homeowner needs...
from Bainbridge Island
I used to own a pressure washing business where I used very high end pressure washers at around $5K each. For the homeowner, this is all you need. I've used it for concrete cleaning, deck cleaning and refurbishing and I have no complaints. I'm probably going to upgrade the hose to a longer one but for what I'm using it for now it really does the trick. For residential use it's everything you'll need, I've been very satisfied with it's performance so far!!
