Makes mowing a breeze! I have a very steep grade in part of my yard that is aggravating to mow. I usually used my weed trimmer rather than drag my mower up the hill and risk it falling back on me. The 725AWD is great! It pulls me and itself up the hill without a hiccup. May 17, 2015
Hard to maneuver and broke on the first cut Easy to assemble, put in gas and oil and it started on the first pull....amazing. I really like the blade control feature where you can disengage the blade but the mower keeps running. That is great for my yard, stopping to move dog toys, etc out of the way without having to restart the mower. Plenty of power as it cut through my tall grass with the side discharge put on. The drive levers are like a compound bow. If you pull them both all of the way in (full speed) they have little resistance but at full speed you are basically running after the mower. If you just pull the drive levers part way in (medium to slow speed) it is a full workout on your hands. When you release the drive levers the wheels lock up and you must push it forward manually for about a foot to unlock them which really puts a burden on mowing small back and forth areas. I got halfway done with the yard on my first ever cut and i noticed the right rear tire was not pulling. I took the wheel off and a retaining clip had come off already and was lost somewhere in the yard. I wish i would have read these reviews before I bought this mower. May 15, 2015
Excellent mower This thing has enough power to cut the grass close even when long and wet. And the AWD just about pulls me along it is that powerful. I am very happy with this product which arrived in a box and was easy to assemble. Makes cutting the grass a pleasure, if it can ever be an actual pleasure. And the blade release is an excellent option which I'm grateful for. March 18, 2015
HU725AWD/BBC The rear wheels are always engaged. As a result, when you go to turn around, the wheels dig in and tear up the lawn. It is very aggravating. My previous mower was also a power mower, but when you released the throttle, the drive to the wheels disengaged and allowed the wheels to be free-wheeling. That way, you could turn or even back up a little bit with no resistance or lawn damage. January 27, 2015
mower This mower has a lot of power the all wheel drive is nice but won't pull on a hill have to get a run at the hill. The front wheel lock up after you let go of the handle and the back tires don't release either you have to push the lawn mower a foot forward to get it too release so you can pull it back. It doesn't cut the grass enough so the bag fills up to fast you have to empty the bag a lot. The mower is to heavy it needs to be lighter it's hard to maneuver. If you want a work out buy this mower. I bought this mower may of 2014 haven't even had it for a year and i hate it. January 17, 2015
durability Since it is winter, I really haven't used it much . I mowed about 50 feet of lawn and found that is is difficult to control the speed . I seems to jump from stop to fast without much control. How it works out remains to be seen. I went to adjust the height of the wheels and found the knob was broken off. I went to use the throttle, and found the cable retainer at the carburetor was broken. Since I barely used it, I really can't give an over all evaluation of it. That will have to wait until spring. Parts Fall Off on 7/17/14 I went shopping for a lawnmower at Lowes. I looked at all they had to offer and I thought was purchasing a high end, well made 4 wheel drive lawnmower that would be reliable and sturdy for years to come. I also bought the extended warranty and thought I was covered on just about everything that could happen to my brand new Husqvarna. Well I got it home took it out of the box and followed the few directions to set it up. I went out to mow the lawn the next day and tired to adjust the wheels to the right height. As I pull up on the handle off it pops and what ever was holding it on went flying. The next time I used my lawn mower, The screw and bracket in rear skirt came off and was lost. I just knew these pieces would be covered by my warranty since I just bought it and used it only twice. I found out it is not covered when parts fall off and the manufacturer is not responsible for how well the lawn mower is assembled at the factory and I should have tighten all the bolts before using it. Really, I did't know I have to be the assembly person for a pre-assembled item. Anyway, now I have a brand new lawnmower with a missing handle and a rear skirt hanging off. So I just let it sit for a while and used my old 99.00 push mower that didn't fall a part the first time I used it and I've had for over 9 years. So I call the nearest repair shop on 9/3/14 to order the parts I needed. I waited for the call that the parts had come in, but on 10/13/14 I called to see if they were in and was told they weren't in yet but may be on the next order. I waited for these parts until I got a call on 11/3/14 and picked them up on 11/4/14. Being a 53 single woman I want to purchase a good sturdy product that was backed by a good warranty and service policy. I even paid extra, yet I think the thing is going to keep falling apart every time I use it. I would not recommend this lawnmower to any of my friends. I have the parts but I have to find someone to put them on for me. First and last purchase of this brand. November 17, 2014
Nice Machine I purchased this at Lowe's when it was on sale. I have always had a craftsman mower but I really was looking forward too the all wheel drive. And it did not disappointed me! Easy bagger and all around very happy with this mower. Easy to set up and clean. November 13, 2014
