Autochoke never worked, broken wheels, no warranty service
As others have mentioned, my wheels failed too. In my case, it was both of the left wheels. Also, the autochoke never actually worked correctly when I got it. I did not realize it was a feature until I was reviewing the manual to send it in for warranty work. The bolts holding the top cover on also shook loose from all the vibrations of the mower operating. I had bought an extended warranty with Lowes, which ended up being a complete waste of money.
When I tried to initiate a warranty repair, Husqvarna declined coverage, claiming all problems were normal wear and tear. I find it hard to believe wheels breaking apart is "normal," except if you look at the negative reviews on here, it appears to happen once a mowing season. They also considered the autochoke repair to just be "cleaning" so I was out for that too. Since Lowes only honors what Husqvarna would have honored, I got no coverage through them either.
At least since I got the mower repaired, I only get angry at the mower every other time I use it, instead of multiple times in a single session. I would never recommend this brank of mower to anybody else, and I am compelled to stay away from Husqvarna tools generally.

Switched exclusively to Husqvarna
Only used a couple times. Starts great, seems to perform like most of their product line which is great. I have Husqvarna Riding tractor, chain saws , weedeater and blower.

Big improvement over previous mower
I bought this mower to replace a functioning, dependable mower which had rear wheel drive & was difficult to maneuver on my hilly property. This mower is so much easier to operate. The high rear wheels make it a breeze to turn plus, it has a Honda engine which has a reputation for reliability. The warranty is a year longer than on previous mower & the built in quick-disconnect wash out feature for the deck is real nice. I've only had it for a couple of months now, which is why I didn't rate the durability & value higher. So far, I am very pleased with this purchase.

I had my doubts initially when I purchased this mower but it starts with one pull and runs great. Love it

Very Good Mower with a small flaw
I've had this mower about two years -- it starts easily. BUT if one does not clean the GRASS out from under the belt cover by the front wheel every time, the self-propelled mechanism jams. That means you have to hose out the grass or use an air compressor to blow the grass.... Remove the cover, and clean out the trash, after each use. This is nearly a fatal design flaw. I do not recall that EVER happening with my 15year old Craftsman.

Belt cover needs cleaned after each use on HU 700 F
I've had this mower about two years -- it starts easily and has variable clutch control by the handle which is handy. BUT if one does not clean the grass out from under the belt cover by left front wheel every time, the self-propelled mechanism jams. That means you have to use an air compressor to blow the dirt out of the 5/16" machine screw holding down the belt cover, remove the cover, and clean out the trash, after each use. This is nearly a fatal design flaw. The front drive isn't as handy for me as a rear drive. (The old Snapper had neither of these problems). But, I put up with these idiosyncrasies, and keep using it. this is a great lawnmower for the money
This mower was recommended to me by a sales person at Lowes. I took his word for it and I was I glad I did. The mower starts on the first pull and does a great job on my lawn. This is a great machine with a great warranty. I would highly recommend this Machine to any person who is in the market for a lawnmower. I could not be more satisfied with this machine.

ST AUGUSTINE GRASS
I LOOKED AT THIS MOWER SEVERAL TIMES IN THE STORE. THE OVERALL DESIGN LOOKED GOOD AND I WAS ESPECIALLY INTERESTED IN THE HONDA ENGINE.
I HAVE TWO ISSUES WITH THE MOWER. I LIVE IN FL AND AM STUCK WITH ST. AUGUSTINE GRASS. I HAVE THE MOWER IN THE HIGHEST SETTING. I AM MOWING THE SAME HEIGHT THAT I HAVE FOR EIGHT YEARS WITH A TORO THAT WAS NOT IN THE HIGHEST POSITION TO ACCOMPLISH THIS HEIGHT. THE 700F HAS LITTLE TRACTION IN THIS GRASS. I HAVE TO PUSH IT FOR ANY MOVEMENT WHERE THE GRASS IS WELL FILLED IN AND DENSE. THIS MOWER WOULD PROBABLY BE FINE ON BLUE GRASS, FESCUE, OF ZOZIYA.
THE SECOND ISSUE IS THAT THE WHEELS LOCK UP WHEN YOU DISENGAGE SELF-PROPELLED. WHEN YOU ARE MOWING IN A SHORT SPACE, YOU HAVE TO REMEMBER TO PUSH A SHORT DISTANCE AFER DISENGAGING. I DO NOT HAVE THAT MASTERED YET AND IT IS FRUSTRATING. AS I AM 75 YEARS OLD I REALLY THOUGHT THIS WAS THE LAST MOWER I WAS GOING TO BUY.
