Not a quality product.
My Husqvarna is a 5521CM which I could not find on the web site. It looks similar to the 5521P so I am including the review here. My mower was purchased approximately three years ago to use for trimming. The bulk of my mowing is done on a ride on mower. The mower always started in the spring. We were careful to add stabilizer when storing it for the winter. This summer when putting it away after trimming, a front wheel fell off. There is no axle so no way to reconnect it. The wheel is just screwed into the housing which broke. So a three year old mower that has done very little cutting is junk. Would never buy this brand again as there is obviously no quality. Did not buy it at a big box store. Purchased it from a dealer as I thought it may be a better product. When I took it to a local repairman he told me it had been assembled with the blade upside down. Am at a loss as to what brand to purchase as most seem to be junk now days.

This mower is great!
Excellent mulching options and good, smooth performance. An incredible value, too.

Finally fun to mow the lawn
When my "big box store" lawnmower died, I went to a local dealer to check out various brands of mowers. The 5521P fit my needs and budget. I've had it about a month now and it is so easy to use. Starts right up with no priming, runs very efficiently and is great on gas. It is also very lightweight which is surprising, given its power. I save about 10 minutes now cutting my lawn and I'm not as tired as when I was pushing the old mower. I heartily recommend this mower for people with small lawns.

From day one engines backfires when shut down. I expected better quality control from a well known brand.

No frills, but great deal
I was searching for a basic lawn mower. I wanted something that was sturdy and dependable but not expensive. This mower fit the bill. I actually purchased a different brand, with the high wheels and Briggs motor but it just seemed flimsy. I returned it after one mowing and ordered the Husqvarna. I am glad I did, as this mower is great. Assembly was straight forward, very simple. The thing that impressed me was how easy it started the first time and every time since. One pull and it's running. As for power, it's got plenty. Cutting through taller grass is no problem. My only minor complaint is the height of the handle. It doesn't feel natural at the set height and I consider myself to be of average height, but you grow accustomed to it quickly enough. Overall, I would buy this mower again.

Best 21" Push Mower For the $$
Anyone looking for a push mower under $300 that might last more than 2 cutting seasons needs to look no further than this 5521P. For just a bit over two hundred bucks you get a strong, time-tested engine, 21" cut, metal deck, one-pull start and a dual discharge system with one of the best mulching capabilities I've ever enjoyed. Sure a Honda or other $300-$600 mower might get you more "quality" or extended life but, as the adage goes: "you get what you pay for", and for my money I'll take two of these mowers in succession over 10 years than risk reaching that with a mower twice the cost.

Definitely not the 6021
Three years ago I purchased a Husq 6021P push-mower and loved it. It started every time and never gave me any issues except for last week, when the deck cracked where the front wheel assembly attached. So, needing a new mower, I bought this model (6021 was no longer available and it seemed comparable on paper to the 6021.) What came out of the box was not very impressive. The whole assembly is much flimsier than the 6021 and the cut is much less even. Really disappointed in the quality of the mower. The Kohler engine on the 6021 seemed much more smooth and powerful than the B&S on this one. It is also noticeably more difficult to push it in a straight trajectory as any irregularity in the surface seems to quickly bounce it off-course. Lawn looks less "clean" when I finish mowing with the 5521.

Excellent for 1-Acre and Smaller Lawns
If you read the title, just know that this is coming from a guy who works in an office and therefore likes to incorporate as much exercise into other activities as he cam; the kind of person that likes to park in the farthest parking spot and who would rather take the stairs over the elevator. That being said, I think this is an excellent small lawn mower. Powerful engine, starts reliably, great sound quality, and a sharp cutter. The only thing I can think of that is only very slightly annoying is that the rubber guard in the back tends to fold underneath the mower even when pulling the mower backwards just a few feet. This doesn't harm anything, just makes backwards maneuverability require a bit more effort. I mow roughly 3/4 acre of uneven ground and it has performed admirably. A great value.
