Fuel line issues Just like several other posts I have read, the fuel line on my new trimmer failed. I replaced the line and have cleaned the carb several times, the only way this unit will run is with the choke half on and at full throttle. Not sure why a manufacture such as Husqvarna will not take care of this issue. I have chain saws and a garden tractor made by Husqvarna that have no issues. I have even tried to purchase a rebuild kit for the carb. but I can not seem to find a part number for it. April 27, 2014
Defective Fuel Lines/Carburator What junk. The unit started okay, but stalled whenever the throttle was squeezed. I inspected the fuel line and the black line inside the tank crumbled in my fingers. I replaced the fuel lines, cleaned the carb, but no luck - it would idle, but stall as soon as power supplied. Reading other comments, this seems to be a common problem. Older HD45 versions were recalled because the rubber gasket on the fuel tank disintegrated. I have a Husqvarna chain saw and I love it. I thought for sure getting a Husky hedge trimmer was the right call - but I was wrong. This product clearly does not live up to my impression of Husqvarna quality. March 24, 2014
gas line crumbles ( Junk ) SECOND TIME I WENT TO USE THE CLIPPERS WOULD START BUT WOLD NOT STAY RUNNING OPENED FUEL CAP INSIDE TANK THE LINE TO THE FUEL FILTER WAS OFF PULLED IT OUT AND THE FUEL LINE WAS CRUMBLEING IN MY FINGERS REPLACED IT SILL WONT RUN MOST LIKLY SUCKED TRASH INTO CARB.. BOTTOM LINE IF YOU DONT PUT THE PROPER FUEL LINE IN FROM THE FACTOR HOW LONG IS THE REST OF THE MACHINE GOING TO LAST???? WOULD NOT BUY THIS BRAND AGAIN!!!!! November 22, 2013
Great Trimmer Very easy to start. Super quiet engine. Razor sharp blades cut like magic even on tough shrubs. Also seems to be very fuel efficient. August 21, 2013
Should have bought stihl I bought these trimmers because it was the only option I had on such short notice. From day 1 these trimmers have not worked properly. In fact after having them only 30 days they completely stopped working. I took them back to the dealer I bought them from and was told that the carb line had to be replaced, and the primer bulb had to be replaced. This is completely unacceptable after only owning these trimmers for a month! Now I am having to pay $115 to have them fixed after paying way too much to purchase them new. I will NEVER but husqujunk ever again! Don't waist your time or money. Oh and the warranty isn't worth a dime. July 25, 2013
Solid Product Works great and starts easy.Like most things could be a little lighter. July 25, 2013

Skip this one! It's made cheap. I've used husqvara products exsclusively now for a professional landscape company for 7 years. Always had great results with there products. This last purchase I noticed that husqvara is beginning to skimp on there quality. Less duribility, less standard features, higher cost than competitors. The hedge trimmer leaked crank case oil the first use and now barely will start and run. A $270 purchase wasted. I took it back to the retailer for repair or return and was told that I need to give it some time to break in. What a joke. I'm highly considering switching to Stihl products exclusively.
