Wish I had read reviews
Unfortunately same problems as most other. Used one season and started to act up at end of that. Drained full for winter. Just broke out for first time this year and won't run for long. Have correct mixture of 1:50, using fresh gasoline). I someone from Husqvarna replied to one review on this and said was the ethanol gas. It's almost impossible to find gas these days that is NOT enthanol enriched so why can't they make a product that can run on it. All other 2 cycle engines I have (Echo backpack blower, Echo weed eater, etc) runs just fine on it. Had just over a year and guess I'll throw away. Piece of junk if warranty won't cover. Never buy another Husqvarna product again.

Bad fuel lines
After using the 122HD45 three times the fuel line inside the tank started to dissolve and destroyed the carburetor. This was not due to a bad oil gas mixture. I own two other 2 stroke engine units by other manufacturers. I never had any problems with those other units. This was my first Husqvarna unit, and it will definitely be my last.

Fuel line issues
i used non ethanol gas from Racetrack and still, after one season this product won't start. Too bad as I've also have their mower, trimmer, and leaf blower - all great products. I'll be switching to another supplier.

I can't keep this unit running long enough to trim anything!

Same problem as everyone else.
Same problem as everyone else on this site. Fuel issues - both the carb and fuel line disintegrated after one season of use. I followed the instructions and did not leave fuel in the unit and it still failed.

Ethanol is the culprit
The 122HD45 was my first exposure to the Husqvarna brand. Positive online reviews of the product motivated my purchase. I bought it in Spring 2012 and used it for about 2 hours over the next 12 months. I carelessly stored it with fuel in it. I tried to use it recently, but it wouldn't start. I shipped it to Husqvarna to have them inspect it. The estimate to replace the carburetor and fuel lines was $89 and was not covered under warranty. I declined to service it. It cost $69 for the estimate fee. I took it to a local, reputable lawn equipment retailer and I was told Husqvarna products are unreliable and intended to be disposed of after reaching their useful life. I now exclusively purchase Stihl products that are serviceable at a reasonable cost and have better warranties.

Save your time and money
Same problem as everyone else. Won't run at full throttle unless at half choke. There is no fix for this so now it is junk.

Same problem as everyone else. Second time using them. Won't stay running. Dies when you give it throttle. Took to authorized dealer, he adjusted carb, I went back to job site and it ran for a few minutes and started doing same thing.
