I have 5hrs on the YTH with no complains. The money value
is excellent. I did not buy mine from the big box store. I feel
buy it from a dealer hoping to get the service when I or if I need it. Over all the tractor has been great I and many others
have said they need more height on the deck. Time will
tell when the sun heats up next year. The tractor starts with no problems every time, I like the deck washer its helps with grass build up. Also there are grease fitting where needed use them that's what they are there for no belt issues at all. I clean my deck off every time I use it and yes this thing has plenty of power. Only time will tell if this husky will hold up for the long haul.
But, as of right now this thing is a beast also I have the bagger and it works flawlessly grass has to be dry people.
It's by far the best bagger I have ever had!

Nothing but problems.
Purchased at Rural KIng. Wouldn't start until completely filled.
Can't cut in ditches because gets stuck every time and seems to have no torque to pull itself out.
Wheels set to low and moving them down didn't help.
Needed starting fluid several times. exchanged for anothermower of same type.
Worked six hours then after a few weeks of not needing it it wouldn't start without starter fluid. Worked for about forty minutes and it stopped. Then it wouldn't even turn over or make a noise. Seems to have an electrical fault now.
You are supposed to be able to see gasoline level but the plastic is not clear enough.
This mower has been a nightmare and Husqvaqrna has been of no help whatsoever. If it worked reliably I would like it.
Nice to look at. I have only one dealer in town that is authorized so have to go to them.

Major electrical problems- died after 2 hours of use
I am extremely disappointed with this mower. I have had this brand in the past which is why i purchased from this company again. After using it two separate times for an hour, (more or less each time) it died in the middle of cutting my grass. No electrical power to the mower at all. I was told by the approved certified repair center that this model had a major defect in the wiring and they had to replace the whole wiring harness for the tractor per Husqvarna with an updated version due to the fact the the one originally installed at the factory was faulty and that i was on a list of people with the same problem all over the country and it can take up to five weeks. In the mean time I bought this in late June and it is now August. I am having to pay to have my lawn cut. This will significantly affect my decision to buy from this company again.

So the best mower we ever had was a JD 17.5/42" until we got this beast....the YTH26V54 tears up our acre of multitreed landscaped yard in about 35 minutes. The JD took about an hour to do the same job and not as well. The cut produced is very smooth and the comfort level of the mower is fantastic. Great value compared to JD. Highly recommended.

Having some mechanical issues.
We purchased this mower based on one we had previously owned. Unfortunately, this mower had a very distinct vibration and seems to be very lacking in power. We have taken it to a dealer for service, but the problem has not yet been resolved.

I want my money back
Nothing but problems with this mower since purchased (5/27): 3 batteries, 1 belt-waiting for the 2nd one to come in after ordering 3 weeks ago and 2 trips back to the store's Shop Mechanic. Something constantly drains power from the battery after about 1 hour of use. Had to jumpstart the mower 3 times while using the other day. Also, the blades will disengage, even though mower continues to run. I forgot about the deck height-we mow at the highest setting (3.5in) and it's still way too short. There is no way that the deck measurements are accurate. I wish that I would have research Husqvarna's return policy before I bought it. I would never had dreamed that I could buy a mower that was a LEMON. Should have went GREEN!

I am in the military, much to the dismay of everyone our installation purchased about 150 of these for distribution to the units. I was fortunate enough to get 12 for our units. We have had these for a couple of months under my supervision. We have close to 200 hours on each and they are absolutely falling apart. We are burning over 4 quarts of oil a day between them all. Power is not there like it was, welding on the decks is starting to give out or just fail. Husqvarna technical support would not tell me the recommended duty cycle but when I told him how much they were being used he told me that they would not survive the next four months if we continued to use them in the manner we are. Spend the extra money and get a more reputable brand that stands behind its product not ducks its shortcomings.
