Lemon I purchased this mower 2 weeks ago and the coil has went out....After taking the mower back to the Dealer 3 days ago and after not receiving any calls about the mower I have started searching for a coil to replace on my own.I would not recommend this mower. April 6, 2012
YTA19K42 This tractor works great. more power than I need. I can not comment on the durability because I have only had it for 1 month. April 2, 2012
Great out of the box First riding lawn tractor. Add gas and go. Just make sure you turn the key to mowing emblem before backing up with the blades running. I'm not sure why you have to do this, but the manual says not to go in reverse with the blades running unless you do this first and keep reverse mowing to a short distance, so thats what I do. Didn't want to take a chance a breaking the new mower as soon as I got it. Other than that I wish you could traveres more than a 15 deg angle sideways. Mower is a little top heavy and has a tip over issue if traversing too steep a grade. Thats it. Great power, Great handling and mowes great. March 23, 2012
My First Yard Tractor is a Gem This was our first yard tractor and I checked reviews carefully before picking my first Husqvarna product. I was looking for quality and good value and I couldn’t be happier. We live in Southern Alabama and have a yard with a half dozen large living oaks and I wanted a unit that could handle the leaves and acorns that seem to fill the yard almost continuously through the fall and spring. I found that the manual was easy to follow and once assembled with the leaf catcher it was ready to go right out of the crate. We have used the tractor twice and what used to be a 2-day job was reduced to a few hours (1 tank of gas) both times. We have saved time as well as our backs. The leaf/acorn pick up ability was even better than expected. I highly recommend the leaf /grass collection accessory – for us it made the package complete. The maneuverability is very good and we are able to cover 95+% of the yard effortlessly. Husqvarna you have a new convert. March 14, 2012
Strong little mower I had shopped for a month plus, I considered Deere and Cub but I kept coming back to the Husqvarna. I have known and used the brand before and felt it was the best route. I looked at the real John Deere mowers, not the box brands that you find at Lowes and Home Depot, the ones that are $3500 +, I wasnt going to spend that kind of money for an acre lot. I will recommend getting the Kohler motor over the briggs, better reports. I nearly bought the HUSQVARNA YTH21K46, bought the YTA19K42 because it better suited my needs. I would have liked the foot hydrostatic but the hand auto works plenty good. You could get the Deere and troy bilt horse, but they are lesser and for the same money or a little more, you get a solid, well built little tractor. Two things really to consider, does it have a Kohler motor and does it have a cast iron front end. March 8, 2012
