Internet advertising and quality control
Sure I am happy with product. The unit does not have cruise control as so stated on your internet page. The selected grass height control does not compare to the John Deere. The Deere gives more selected height control like 3to 3.5, 4, 4.5 and etc. The ROS feature is crock also with mine it doesn't matter where you got the ignition switch, the engine doesn't cut off when you put it reverse, IT SUPPOSE TO CUT OFF IN THE START POSITION WHEN I PUT IT IN REVERSE OF WHICH IT DON'T. If you have a good quality control the enforcement of it pretty poor.

There is only two things I don't like about this tractor, 1st the gas fill is under the hood and is very difficult to pour gas into, 2nd the deck level sticks up and catches on my shorts getting off and on the tractor. Other than that its a great piece of machinery. Purchased from our local dealer and delivered it when they said they would, one small problem the mower deck was not set up properly and was cutting off a 1/2 in from side to side and front to back was not set up properly either. Previously had a Husqvarna (LT100) That was purchased in 1991, ran great except was getting difficult to steer and couldn't get all the parts to rebuild the front end.

I bought this tractor in early Spring. It is now mid-summer and I am on my 10th cut of the season. The tractor is great.
I bought the tractor from a local dealer. They installed the mulching kit for me and performed all pre-delivery inspection and setup. Once delivered, the tractor was ready for its first cut. They even filled the gas tank for me. I certainly recommend this over the box store.
Anyways, I find the tractor to be plenty strong; it can run fast. I do not recommend cutting at higher than midpoint speeds though. Also, heed the instructions in the owner's manual regarding managing slopes. The higher angle slopes are a bit dangerous.
The hydrostatic transmission is a "natural" for the tractor and makes operation immensely simple - no cruise control needed.
The deck wash port is missing which is fine by me as I find cleaning it with a leaf blower to be much more efficient. 2 minutes with a leaf blower and the tractor looks like brand new.
I can honestly say that this tractor makes me look forward to cutting my lawn every week. In the past, I used to pray for rain so I would have a solid excuse for not mowing.

Good mower except for the deck wash system.
I have used this mower five times and it is a good mower except for the deck wash system. It does not remove the grass from the deck.

My New Lawntractor.
I've owned my LTH2038 for only two months and I am very glad to write that its the best mower I have ever brought. Its powerful yet easy to handle. It is compact, but I actually get my grass cutting done in less time with this mower. The design is such that I don't feel like I do more work than the machine. All things considered this has been a great purchase.

Great lawn tractor, BUT........
I have over a half acre of yard with the normal obstacles of trees, bushes etc, so the 38 inch cut works best for me. I will agree with all the good comments on the mower. I can't improve on them, but the one thing I do not like is the fender mounted mower deck adjustment handle. It is angled out to the left and when cutting close to objects it catches onto them. I have had it collect bush limbs, a power pole guy wire and yesterday my wheelbarrow. I spray around everything to create a bare area but sometimes I still have to get closer and this has been a problem for me since I bought the tractor. My solution will be to heat it and bend the handle back to the inside and create the clearance I need. I think a lower handle possibly in a T or similar grip shape would solve the problem. I have a 2012 model and the shifter handle on the right is the same but is straight up so doesn't cause as much trouble. The newer models appear to have corrected that problem with a lower grip. I like that.
Other than that correctable problem for me I really like the mower and would certainly recommend it and purchase again.

Excellent Upgrade to the LTH18538!
I own the LTH18538. It is the last model for 2012. It is one of the best tractors I have ever owned. Has a nice tight turning radius, very even cut, and a very comfortable ride. I set up my tractor with the Double Bagger and it's a great attachment. No raking left overs or anything of the sort.
FYI, the LTH 2038 is the same unit, just a little stronger engine. My tractor has the 18.5 HP Briggs. The new tractor has the 20 HP Briggs.
Note to those crying about the "cruise control" You really should pay attention to the site and videos as well as the documents that Husqvarna has on site. If you did, then you'd know that the Cruise Control is ONLY available on the models that have the foot pedal drive, not the fender lever. The Fender has it's own "Cruise Control" where the lever stays in place for you.

Not Quite as Advertised
Just received my new LTH2038. Runs well, comfortable ride and after one mowing I'm pleased. I purchased this machine based on spec's and features I found on Husqvarna's website however my machine seems to be missing both the Cruise Control feature as well as the Deck Wash connection so look closely before purchasing.
