Wonderful with mulcher
My yard looks like it has been raked after I cut up the leaves with the mulcher. Like this machine very much!

New Mower
I have been through plenty of riding mowers throughout the years but this mower by far has had the best power and most consistant cut.

Ecellant but . . .
Love the mower, wonderful twin cylinder kohler 24hp engine. One problem . .the battery was not being re-changed. Did my own trouble shooting and found a purple wire from the engine that looked to be intentionally cut just before the first plastic connector clip. Luckily I found it, fixed the connection and all is well. Was one of the assembly workers mad that day???? I was not looking forward to returning the mower to Lowes. I am 64 yrs old and have gone thru quite a few mowers over the years. Have learned that if you don't love the engine, you won't love the mower. Had a mower with kohler twin years ago and loved it, even though the mower was a hunk of junk and required alot of maintenance. Last mower had Briggs and Straton and engine died a early death. Now I am happy again. Quality of this mower is apparent. Well built deck, top access to grease the spindles, can mow in reverse, hood made of metal. Quality of box store John Deere's without the price.

Tough purchase
I bought this tractor from a big box retailer and paid for delivery. When I received it, it was dead and wouldn't turn over. They picked it up and replaced it. The replacement runs fine but just doesn't cut the grass as clean as my previous tractor.
The cruise control will only hold on two speeds: super slow and too fast to cut. This requires me to use the pedal for the entirety of mowing my lawn.
Also, there is no quick-oil-change connection, so I have to take out a bolt in the engine block making a huge mess. Poor design. Tractors costing half as much have a fitting that makes it much easier to change the oil.
After a full season with the tractor, I have conceded that I made a bad choice when I purchased this model.

Not as good as I thought it would be.
This tractor has been a disappointment since I got it in June. The front tires don't hold air because they dry rotted by the end of August. So I will be buying new tires for a 6 month old tractor over the winter. The mower deck holds so much grass, when it lets loose it kills the engine. The fuel guage is useless, turning the key to engage reverse is a pain, and the engine is so noisey sometimes I think it is a deisel. Wish I would have kept my 1986 Wheel Horse.

What a GREAT Cut ! !
This is a wonderful cutting mower....Golf Course Quality ! Had to spend a few min getting the deck set, but what a great looking yard when done. The 24hp Kohler has plenty of power and the turning radius is fantastic ! I don't think you can find a better Mower for the price, as a matter of a fact, I don,t think you can find a better mower for any price.

Great first Tractor
This is my first riding lawnmower and it has been very easy to learn how to use. This is a great mower at a great price! Only thing I don't like is that it doesn't grip real well on hills.
