YTH24K48 Great so far
I Replaced my 16 year old craftsman GT6000 with this mower. I looked at cub cadet, John Deere, others and decided the Husqvarna was best. the deck is heavy duty !!! by far better than others. wide anti-scalp wheels keeps it from scalping when mowing in wet or hilly conditions. steering is very easy with a tight turning radius. Kohler 24hp engine has all the power you could ever need and this mower is FAST. can mow my yard in half the time i used to with better results.

Awesome Tractor/Best bang for your buck!
I purchased this tractor 2 months ago. Before i purchased it i did my research for over a year looking and comparing to the different brands out there. By the looks and power plant and reinforced deck and all the options you are getting and bigger and better lawn mower in it's class. It is very user friendly and performs great. I use Husqvarna equipmant a good bit with work and your just not buying a name brand equipement your buying a machine that the name stands behind a good piece of equipment!

Repeat Owner
This is my second Husky tractor. I see many minor improvements in design and performance. The Kohler engine is unbeatable.

My first brand new lawn tractor
I am 30 years old and for the first time bought a brand new lawn tractor. I am writing this review mainly because I read them for about two months before I purchased this mower. I mow grass for a living and mow with a 72" kabota diesal z-turn. So I definetly know what a decent mower feels like. I also was a small engine mechanic mainly working on z-turns, push mowers etc... The only thing I still am a tad leary about is a kohler OR briggs engine. I have replaced both more times over than ANY kawasaki or honda. But....since getting this home the kohler seems to run very well. Im sure with proper oil changes and keeping a clean air filter this engine will run 1000hrs. Ok...The tractor DOES have a bit of flex to it when going over obstacles. I believe the company allowed a degree of twist in order to help keep a flat smooth and comfortable ride. I mean its not like its not noticable. I enjoy the give while driving over unlevel ground versus a ride like a rock.. The seat is amazing! Very comfortable. The site glass on the tank I believe works well even though some reviews complain about it. I enjoy being able to keep the head lights on while having the mower off and key on acssesory. Also I think traction is very acceptable. I drive up a 30 degree slope and stop haf way up and theres no tire spin. I know this is a long review but I hope I answered most questions I had about the tractor. Enjoy!

Fast & Furious-- when necessary.
This mighty machine with V-Twin Kohler Courage engine & hydrostatic transmission (effective speed control is simple & productive) has been up to (and more than capable of performing) every task so far-- from svelte St. Augestine to weeds over-my-head high. From my (Professional Engineer's) perspective, I'm really glad I chose this lawn tractor over the others I studied. From better seat springs to larger shafts & front axle-- it's a fine peice of engineering & production. The ergonomics make it about as comfortable and intuitive to operate as can be. It's early to talk about reliability, but during the 30 "infant" hours of operation there have been NO ISSUES at all. It has good safety features to protect the operator (from himself).
To be picky, rubber caps on the grease fittings would be nice, as would "Slime", or its equivalent in the tires. This would be messy-- I know, but practical --to avoid having to deal with wire & other puncture hazzards when they (have) occured. The mower deck pully guards are safe, but an easier way to remove & securely replace them would facilitate blowout/cleaning of grass debris from around the pullies. I appreciate the tough discharge guard, but some "built-in" strap or way of holding it up would facilitate trailer loadiing & travel on my five-foot-wide trailer. Thanks again for your FINE product.

nice mower BUT
already have an older Husqvarna mower, runs great, wanted faster mower,so bought this mower at Lowes, ran great for 2 weeks, started to miss and die when hot, finally quit altogether this week, would restart after cooling period, suspect bad coil, took to Lowes for repair, but Lowes gave me new mower instead!not a big fan of Kohler engines, but like the mower very much,FAST,mows great, easy to run, hope i just got a bad engine, only lasted 13 hrs.

Hard ride; cuts well
I selected this tractor hoping that it would be an improvement over the MTD-manufactured tractor I used for the last eight years. I have been somewhat surprised that my new Husqvarna has a much harsher ride over terrain that seemed smooth as glass when riding my previous tractor. I also sense that the Husqvarna is somewhat more "tippable" than my previous tractor, though I haven't put that to the test. The Husqvarna does cut well and appears to be well-manufactured, though I wish the manufacturer would redesign the steering wheel (the bottom side of the plastic steering wheel has sharp edges).
