Worst mower I have ever had.
I purchased my yth24k48 on Feb. 24, 2012 from Lowes in Stark ville, Ms and about a month after I got it is when things started togo wrong. First the hour clock jumped from 8 hours to 24 hours, my blade belt jumped off track the very first time I used it and has jumped off track several times. Also when I cut on just a small slope after the second or third time I used it black smoke would start coming out of the muffler and the mower would act as it it were about to go dead until I got off of the slope and to top it all off It finally would not even crank up or turn over when I turned the ignition key to start it up. I took it back to Lowes on June 8, 2012 to return it or get it repaired and it was past their return policy, so I left it there to get sent off for repair and they told me that anything over $210.00 would have to come out of my own pocket.

Recommended Mower
This mower came recommended number 2 by Consumer Reports. It's only been used twice sine purchase but has performed admirably. Do not have enough time yet to assess fuel usage, but the forward-reverse toe-heel accelerator has improved mowing time ~15%.

Good reviews; good tractor
I read a lot of reviews on lawn tractors. I narrowed it down to three, and this was the one I settled on buying. I've had it about three months now, and I love it. It has met all of my expectations.
Against my better judgment, I took it into a weeded area on my property with thick weeds as high as three feet in some areas. I did not expect it to cut them, but it did—without even bogging down. I was simply amazed.
Great machine!

I am very pleased with my mower. purchased a John Deere130 at first an it was junk! Took it back after 3 weeks.

Love the foot pedals!
I just got my new tractor about 2 weeks ago and have put a little over 9 hours on it. I mow about two acres but my last mower had just given out so I had some really high grass to mow. My last tractor was a Husqvarna YTH1848 with the Kawasaki engine. I loved it and it did a great job so I thought I'd replace it with another Husqvarna. Very happy with the new mower. As I said up top I love the gas pedals on the floor. Even the reverse pedal works well once you've learned to push down on it with your heel instead of back. I don't like the fact that I have to turn the key to mow in reverse...my last one mowed in reverse automatically....no need for an override. And I think the ride on my old one was smoother, HOWEVER, i tend to think that this one is better designed and built. I also appreciate the reinforced deck since I have a lot of obstacles on my property. Dealer changed the tires and rims before I bought so I've had no problem with dry rot tires. The gas gauge is very difficult to read. In the right light you can see, and sometimes if you look underneath the seat in the back you can tell how much gas is left, but they should have made the plastic clear in the front so it would be more readable. All in all I love it and hope it will last at least 10 years or more, my last one did!

This product is very comfortable to use!!!
After fighting with a Cub Cadet for 3 years, this is a blessing to use. We are getting on up in age and had to have something dependable. Well, we found it!!!!!

So Far So Good
We have only put 6.3 hours on this tractor at the time of this review. As the review is titled so far so good. (pros) Has great power, mows well at higher speeds, turns very tight, regular maintenance areas easy to access(Air cleaner, grease zerts, belt tensioners) top speed on this mower is great, just about as fast as an electric golf cart. The only two cons are the gas gauge is a joke and the pressure switch in the seat is WAY to sensitive especially if you have any slopes to mow across. Other than those two little issues this tractor is a grass mowing machine, has cut my mowing time from 8 hrs. to 4.5 hrs. I had a 42" John Deere for 10 years obviously it was dependable but mowed pretty slowly, now we will have to wait and see if this tractor has the stamina. Husqvarna must think so or they wouldn't provide the warranty they do.

Fast Tractor=Great Results...
Very pleased with my Fast Tractor! All features are as promised. Only issue that I would like to quibble about is the reverse button is clunky, and the reverse is quite slow and hard to initiate. Other than this, the tractor is great: smooth mowing, quiet, and reliable.
