Great Saw Great Value This Saw has the power to handle large jobs! I have some large Spruce Trees in my wood lot, the 460 Rancher is so light and powerfull it handles them with ease. There are good saws and then there are the Best..!!!!I I was gifted my first 460 about 2 years ago to help a friend selectively clear 100+ acres.!! I quickly fell in love and married this saw..lol !! Now after 2 years I have 3-460's and 3-445's, 1-240,1-430 and recently got 1-T435,1-562XP and my big saw 395XPW with 42"bar and skiptooth chain. My wife just shakes her head but she loves the little T435 as much as I do.!! Great saws and the power is amazing, The guys working for me all have their favorites and love their jobs now,no down time and great reliability.One bad thing is finding someone to keep us supplied with great chains as well, still looking on that one. Great saws guys and if the wife will let me, one day I will have one of each cause everyone has to have a hobby..right.?? Looking forward to my next one soon..the 3120 with a 60 and 72 " bars and 404 ripping chain, just drooling thinking about it..lol Keep up the great work and lets see about some news ideas and more aggressive chains coming out. Lot Clearing I picked up the 460 for land clearing on a home lot we purchased in April. This has been a time saver and back saver. I have the 24" bar and it has been a worthwhile investment. I had a "burl" maple that I couldn't have taken down without this saw. Definitely recommend. August 14, 2012
Solid Workhorse!!! I have owned about every Stihl made, and this is my first Husqvarna. Needless to say I wont buy another Stihl, this saw is a work horse. It starts quick, and cuts quick. August 12, 2012
Rancher 460 Purchased the 24 inch blade just to fell large diameter tress. Leave the trimming to a smaller and lighter saw. Worked great on the first tree, about 46 inch diameter. However the next day on a similar size tree, the saw would not run with the bar in a horizontal position. Changed the fuel, checked the fuel filter, full tank of gas no help. Still trying to diagnose the problem two weeks later. Still stalls out. July 29, 2012

I am impressed Great power and ergonomics. Excellent power to weight ratio and very comfortable to operate with the LowVib designs. Very easy to start even without using the Smart Start feature, This saw is the best value for the money. July 3, 2012
