Rancher 460
This is my fourth chainsaw and I love it. Easy to handle, always starts (a great feature when your crawling over felled trees and limbs), and has plenty of power. Husqvarna was recommended by the guy who logged ten acres for me; he really knew what he was talking about.

Great starting chain often comes off
This chain saw is great to use except it is a pain to keep the chain properly tensioned

GREAT PRODUCT
I have had this chain saw for several years and has never failed me, has cleared the fenceline on168 ac
farm and done everything I needed to do.
Plus chain seems to last much longer than other chain saws that I have had over the years.

Oil pump problem
The oil pump gets plugged very easily with sawdust at times destroying the pump. The filter is not accessible without having it repaired by the dealer. Plus, the recessed filler cavity only aggrevates the potential for sawdst entering the chain oil tank. The fact that a chainsaw is used in a dirty environment demands on-the-job maintenance and repair. A removable and cleanable oil filter would be an obvious feature. Very frustrating to say the least. Otherwise a great saw when the oil is flowing.

Very nice saw for the money!
I purchased this saw because of the name and price. My father-in-law has the 455 Rancher and it is a nice machine. I had to out-do him with the 460 Rancher, and so far I have had no issues with it. very well balanced, and has enough power to cut anything around here. My brothers & I get together a few times from Spring to early Fall to cut down some trees. Dang its tough work, but we have a heck of a time doing it. There is nothing like the smell of Pinions being cut & sound of chain saws screaming!
