HUSQVARNA 460 Rancher
Great saw for the average user.
This saw starts on the third stroke every time. I must have cut 8 to 10 cords in the two years that I have had the saw. Both oak and pine, mostly oak. I have had to change the bar but other than regular maintenance, no problems.

The biggest little chainsaw
Owning a rancher makes takes the work out of cutting up larger tree trunks. It has plenty of power, yet it is light enough to not make you get tired og wielding the chainsaw. A great buy for the price.

Rancher 460 Chainsaw
I bought the rancher 460 with 24" bar. I use it to cut firewood at a property I own. The is easy to start runs without any glitches. It has plenty of power to cut large diameter trees. I would recommend this saw.

We recently cleared a Manzanita grove and other brush to reduce a hot fire hazard zone which is too close for comfort to our home in a rural location. With two guys each with saws, they were able to complete the task by cutting and stacking the logs for give-a-way within a one week timeframe.

2010 460 rancher chainsaw
This is a great saw. I am a faithful Husqvarna user and over many years they have proven over and over how reliable and durable their products are. I have used many Husqvarna saws and this saw really stands out. It has ample cutting power and performs great. The cutting speed is a great match to the bar length (24"). Power is smooth and adequate throughout all power ranges. Vibrations are minimal which is nice as the fatigue factor is also diminished. Your high quality products have earned my trust and business for years to come.

The preformance of this chain saw has been remarkable. It is everythiing that I hoped for in a chain saw when I bought it. I have used it to help clear trees from our acreage. I have cut down and trimed large chinese elm, thorny locust, and walnut trees. It is light to handle even though it is a big saw. The only thing that a don't like is that I have had to replace the bar and chain twice. I have kept the chain sharp; have kept it at proper tension, and use bar oil.
