HUSQVARNA 460 Rancher 4.7 5 200 200
Good torque throughout the rpm range Very impressed with the torque even at low rpms. Previous owned chainsaws did not have good low rpm torque, therefore not allowing to 'push' the saw through larger pieces of wood. The 460 Rancher has this ability, along with the decompressor button and carb purge bulb for easy starting, I almost get excited to go and cut wood! April 22, 2011
Great saw, Great price! I bought this saw to use for annual cleaning of my 10 achre plot in the Pacific Northwest. This saw exceeded my expectations. Starting it was very easy thanks to the compression release. Right from the get go, this saw was able to go through any job I threw at it. From limbing to cutting 24" logs into rounds with little effort and virtually no engine bog. I shopped arround a lot and found this to be the best saw with the most power for the money. It had great reviews, and I was not dissapointed with its performance one bit! I would recommend this to anyone that needs to clear their personal propery, or plot of land with little to no effort. great product 460/24" bar Very happy with this saw. It would be nice if it had a little more power, but I am running the 24 inch bar, I imagine it would be awesome with the 20. Everyone wants more power for everything , right? The decompression valve is a great feature, the saw is very easy to start. Runs great, cuts like a dream! April 15, 2011
460 Rancher This saw is one of the best I,v ever had.Out preforms my Still and all so priced less. So move over Still because I,m going with a Husky from now on. April 15, 2011
Works Great It started a little hard the first time but after that it started easy and runs great. It made short work of the trees I dropped and did not use that much gas. April 15, 2011
product handles great This was my first Husqvarna chain saw to purchase. I liked the ease of handling and starting qualities. It cut thru wood really easy. There was more than enough power to do the job. I would rate the performance top of the line. April 15, 2011
New Saw It's my second saw, my first "real" saw. I use it cutting firewood around Fairbanks, AK. Cutting large logs, tree trunks before would be a several minute event. With this saw, the cut lasts less than 30 seconds, and the safety factor is greatly increased due to using the right tool for the right job. April 14, 2011
Good medium duty saw Have only got about 4+ hours runtime on this saw so far but all seems very good so far. The reason I downgraded the ergonomics was because of the placement and light touch of the kill switch - I hit it quite often while cutting with gloves on and kills the saw, especially while limbing a felled tree, very irritating. I'm very impressed with the chain so far too, only had to retension it once in the 3 - 4 hours I've used it and I've been cutting some large hickory & oak trees for firewood, lots of solid cutting. I like the adjustable oil flow. This is my first Husky saw and with my limited use so far I'd definitely recommend it. April 14, 2011
