Great Saw I have used many different saws over the years. This is one of the best for the price, good balance of power and weight, starts up very easy hot or cold and very easy to do all type's of work with. February 24, 2011
Best Chain Saw Ever!! I live in Pennsylvania. We have a cold winter that lasts for about 5 months. I use a wood boiler to heat my home and keep my family warm. My wood boiler burns about 13-15 cords of wood each winter. Thanks to my Husqvarna 455 Rancher I can have all that wood cut and stacked well before the cold weather sets in. My Husqvarna 455 Rancher never once let me down. Not even in 2010 when we had two 30" blizzards with in a week of each other and I ran out of wood and had to go out into the woods to cut trees and heat my home. The trees that I could get to were Shag Bark Hickory and were all frozen solid. My Husqvarna 455 Rancher made quick work of them and in my opinion saved my family from freezing. February 24, 2011
Great saw This is the first Husqvarna product that I have bought. I have always used a Homelite saw. This saw works great. Is very easy to start, usually starts on third pull of the string. Can cut a lot of wood on a tank of fuel. There is very little viberation on the handle. The only draw back is, that there should be a place on the saw to hold the chian tensioner tool in place so that it is not easily lost, that or include a case with the saw. I mean why not. It would help the consumer protect their investment after spending good money on a chainsaw. February 24, 2011
This saw is a good investment I bought my saw in 09 and cut 9 to 10 cords of wood for the winter and never had a problem with it. I loved it so much that I bought another one in 10. I grew up with Husky and my mom still has the one she bought for the farm and its over 20 years old and runs great still. February 24, 2011
455 Rancher Overall performance is above average, takes less effort to cut through logs than most chainsaws, but has tendancies to throw the chain when it gets in a big log or a strain from a long cut, could use just a little more power. I have been a Stihl user for years but wanted to try out the Husky and I am glad I did. I would definately reccomend any Husky products, especially the 455 Rancher, its a big saw when you need it and a small saw when you dont. February 24, 2011
455 Rancher This is a good chainsaw. It's light weight, easy to start, and cuts good, and is quit. I would recommen it to anybody. February 24, 2011
Rancher 455 Love it. Have an outdoor wood boiler, and this saw keeps the wood coming in..... February 24, 2011
My saw is my friend !!! All to often when planning a day of cutting firewood, when trying to use a lesser product, I found myself doing tailgate repairs throughout the day. Since the purchase of my Husqvarna 455, that has changed. This saw has required fuel, bar oil, the cleaning of the air filter, and the adjusting of the chain. Period . There is NOTHING bad about this saw!!! February 24, 2011
