Starts right up everytime Even after sitting for months, my Husky starts right up and runs great. It has been extremely dependable. It makes good power and is easy to clean and maintain. Extremely happy with this purchase. I've owned other brands in the past and it was more work to get it to run than it was to do the job. February 25, 2011
nice machine A definite buy and would recommend to anyone. Starts easily, chain easy to take out and replace. Oil area drips alot but otherwise a good machine. February 25, 2011
this saw is the best value for the money I have used my saw for about a year now and the way it performs is better than the guys that I cut with. They all talked up their saws as the best around till they saw the way my Husqvarna cut circles around them. February 25, 2011
Awesome chainsaw the 450A Well I used it all this past summer and had terrific performance with it. I have hand problems holding heavier machines but this unit is just right for me. I love the fast starts I get and have'nt had any problems since I purchased it. I will stick with your products in the future. Once again thanks for a great chainsaw..... February 25, 2011
Homeowner 450 - avoid Stirling shop convinced me a 450 would be perfect for someone who owns 27 acres. Since I never had owned or operated a chainsaw before, I didn't realize I was being taken. The 450 is good for the weekend warrior who cuts wood once a month. But anyone who owns a woodstove, like myself, you'll be disappointed. What are the issues? I can live with the lack of power since it is smaller engine. Part durability is an issue with me. The pulley return spring snapped with just over a year's use. Ordered the $7 part from a Stirling shop and another from a Trenton shop to be certain the part would be ordered. A month later, neither shop could get the part. Solution: drove to Havelock to another shop, who had the part in stock. Other issues, must re-tighten the chain every few minutes under heavy load. Warped one bar from overheating because of the chaining running loose. Don't understand why, but the chains dull so quickly compared to the chains on the 570 I use as well. Now, that's a saw. See my review of it. Don't buy this saw. Pay more and upscale to a more durable saw. February 25, 2011
