Great Saw!
I was given a 450e this past Christmas to replace a Stihl MS250, and simply couldn't be happier with the saw. The 450e makes incredible torque for a 50cc class chainsaw, and the features (decompression valve & recessed primer bulb) make starting and operating the saw a snap even during the coldest winter months in Wisconsin.
Husqvarna also made servicing the saw easy with simple access to the air filter, and tool-less chain and bar tightening. Overall, a fantastic saw!

450e chainsaw 50cc engine
I bought the 450 with very high hopes that this saw will stand up to my expectations. After I have brought the saw home and ran a pretty east gallon of 50:1 gas mixture of premium fuel and husqvarna xp 2 stroke oil.
After that gallon was burned threw I knew that it was time do some really cutting with my new saw. I went out into the woods to fell a few trees picked out a black ash tree about 25 in on the stump. I fired up my saw started on first cut of the open face saw did not hesitate whatsoever. The felling marks come in handy very usefull On the second cut i was able to cut right up to my first cut with out the chain stalling or the engine bogging down i removed my wedge wood and started on the back cut the saw pulled chips right threw the knots and put the tree on the ground and bucking up the tree with it being about 25 inches on the stump and 16 inches at the crown I bucked this tree up with out any problem barley used and fuel hardly perfect amount of oil going out on the chain and not ontothe ground great saw overall I will recommend this saw to any one

Good Chainsaw
Had chainsaw for about a year, so far no major problems. Cuts well, and is lighter than other comparable chainsaws. No tool chain adjustment can be stubborn at times. Some oil leakage after stopping chainsaw.

The Husky 450 - Light and Fast!
I purchased my new 'Husky' 450 last February. I had been using an old Rancher 50 for the past 20 years that's still going strong, but I wanted to provide a smaller carbon footprint and needed a new saw for the new Century I am in. I was amazed at the ease in starting her, and how light she was to wield while climbing around in a 19" white oak tree. I needed to climb so that I wouldn't damage the garage and I could operate this saw with one hand when I really needed to. I am not a big, burly guy, only 5-10 and 265 lbs. It has been a pleasure using this little denizen which saves me gas, is always ready to rock and roll and saves my back by having an 18" bar. I'd recommend this saw to any occasional lumberjack like myself, and I'm not expecting to need anything else for many years to come.

broken
The saw I purchased had 2 flaws, 1st, the saw would not shut off correctly (due to a wiring issue) and a problem with the carburator. Fixed under warranty. running fine since.

I ve had this saw for about 8 months and used it 3 times. I put about 8 hard hours cutting large wood and it performs past my expectations. Good value and quality on this saw

Chain ajustment
Chain adjustment could be better. Not very much room to adjust chain, plus not very accessable.
