Right tool for the right job I primarily use my chainsaw for cutting oversized firewood and cutting up fallen limbs and trees in my yard (.8 acre). Starts up easy and stays running. Havn't had a problem cutting thru anything as of yet. Very easy to control with little kick back and pull. World of difference when i swiched to this saw from my old one, its a big advantage when you have the right tool. February 24, 2011
Great Home Saw I purchased this saw to cut a fallen tree on my property. It startes easily, and handles nicely. I've cut up around 15-20 big oak and it hasn't skipped a beat. I think you won't be sorry spending a little more for this brabd as it's well worth it. February 24, 2011
445 is excellent Great rugged little saw with plenty of power, way more than the Homelite saw I replaced. Haven't had it long enough to know about reliability, but since professionals use Husqvarna I've no doubt it will last a long long time. I've made very short work of quite a few good sized trees in my yard, my neighbors yard, firewood, etc. Glad I spent a little extra to get this saw, it's obviously worth it. February 24, 2011
445 Chainsaw Great chainsaw!!!! makes little work from a big job. The power of the motor keeps it cutting through logs without a stumble. Not too heavy, feels great and won't leave you sore from wrestling with it. February 24, 2011
My Husqvarna I love my Husqvarna! I am a woman and I have purchased three of the same type! The first one was stolen during a break in at my home and the second was picked up by a man when it fell off the back of a pickup truck in the road! There is nothing better than a Husqvarna Chainsaw! It (or should I say they) have provided my home with heat over the last three years! Without my Husqvarna I don't know what I would have done! Thank You Husqvarna for making such an awesome product! It is easy to use and not too heavy to manipulate! I was lost twice without you and now I have replaced you again!!! I love My Husqvarna!!!!!!! February 24, 2011
Power per dollar I shopped Stihl, and Dolmar before buying my Husqvarna 445. I am satisfied that I purchased the most powerful and durable saw in my price range. February 24, 2011
Affordable Quality, Durable Performance I am a homeowner, and I have owned my Husqvarna 445 Chainsaw for a little over a year. I purchased it to take care of some trees on my property that I wished to remove. The saw took care of my trees like they weren't even there. You could barely tell that the saw was even cutting, but, sure enough, it was. The motor didn't struggle a bit. The only head-scratcher that I've experienced has to do with the chain oil compartment. Chain oil tends to leak out from the compartment when storing the saw (even for short periods) with oil in the chamber. I noticed no advisory in the user's manual against storing the saw with some gas/oil in it, so I was surprised. Allow me, also, to be clear. I'm not saying that the oil was leaking out through the cap. The cap was dry. The oil was leaking out through the outlet through which it normally flows during operation. Speaking with a local power equipment specialist, however, seems to reveal that this is a problem with just about any chainsaw. It was suggested that I store the saw on its side (so the oil isn't up against the outlet). I'm not sure I believe that 100%, though, but I'm not qualified to speak on that. February 24, 2011
