Husky 445 I like the size and weight. It's great for throwing in the truck and going camping; it takes up less space than our other large woodcutting saw (372). It's easy to start. It leaks, kind of a lot. Oil is all over our garage, so we place a cardboard slab underneath to soak it up. Otherwise runs great and is a good saw for the size. Would be nice to have a wrap-around bar, but that would potentially compromise the weight; although there are some positions I could've used it. That's about it! February 25, 2011
445 Chainsaw Purchased the 445 from Lowe's. Cranked first time I tried it! Works great. I like the finger pump bubble for the fuel. Good power for its size. I have used it to cut up firewood and cut down brush and small trees. Does great on fuel also and is much better on fuel use than my old chainsaw. February 25, 2011
Husky 445 Bought a wood burning furnace last year so researched Husky, Echo and of course the big "S". Husky won for value. Been really happy. i thought "a chainsaw is a chainsaw". Wrong!! I have had a Poulan for years and thought it was a pretty good saw but crazy difference. i would buy another Husky in a heartbeat. February 25, 2011
Easiest starting chain saw I have ever owned. I like the light weight and easy handling of the saw. Very easy to maintain, starts hot or cold. I would purchase again and have told all my friends how good this saw is. February 25, 2011
Great Value and excellent performance I bought this saw to block up 8 cords of firewood. I had and old poulan before and what a diffence and not really a fair comparision I know. Great feel, nicely balanced, no vibration as with some saws I have used. Only draw back was when I got into some logs that were 18" and bigger it lacked the power to handle them as easily but really I should have a bigger saw if that was the work I was doing consistantly. Starts great on cold days when it has been sitting for a few weeks. Overall very pleased. February 25, 2011
Nice chainsaw, just one weakness I enjoy using this chainsaw. The only issue I have found is that sometimes it is harder to start than I would like, and the standard instructions in the manual aren't enough. Each season I figure out some tricks to help it start, especially when warm, but I don't remember them now or I would share them here. February 25, 2011
great saw till it broke throttle screw plate broke off brought it to reapair shop 3 months ago and still no saw till present date February 25, 2011
Best chain saw I have ever owned. I have used chain saws for over 30 years and I love the performance of my 445 best of all. Easy start, quick response, fast cuts...it doesn't get any better than this. February 25, 2011
