Excellant saw for the price Probably the best saw I have ever owned, easy starting, great power, its new so I can not attest to its durability time will tell but I suspect a long life. It has better fuel consumption than my old Craftsman and Mccullogh saws did and is a bit lighter and quieter, the item that clinched the deal for me on this saw was the tool less chain adjustment feature no more reaching for the wrench to constantly tighten the chain. I highly recommend this saw for the homeowner!! May 30, 2011
440 e-series Needed a chain saw fast with a large fallen tree from a storm. Tried several brands in the past with eventual failures. The 440 e was surprisingly light but powerful. Any saw will cut if running well and sharp, but this baby didn't even grunt while cutting a hardwood trunk as wide as the blade. I really like the chain tighener adjustment for ease of use and not having to take the saw apart for this task. It was hard starting at first when cold. I finally learned how and when to choke it. Best to get the dealer to show you before you take it to the field. I think this one is going to last me a lot longer. May 21, 2011
Everything I was lookIng for I have loved this saw. It starts great and performs to my needs. The quick chain adjustments are amazing on this saw. This is the perfect size for so many uses and it has the power when you need it. April 15, 2011
Good saw, good price. This saw starts easily and has done every job that I have asked. April 14, 2011
Recommended for everyday use I bought this for something to have fun with and it has provided that and more. It's perfect for just trimming trees in the yard or its even better for a hike in the bush, It's lightweight and durable. It can take down a tree over a 100 feet if thats what you are looking for. Wouldn't trade it for any other saw. March 18, 2011
Best saw I've owned! Very satisfied- couldn't ask for more! I've used stihl in the past and this is comparable. March 17, 2011
Compact I needed another chain saw to go along with my bigger eighteen inch 455 Rancher and this saw fills the bill nicely. I almost find myself reaching for this one first. Starts easy and perfectly balanced makes operation for long periods less tiring. March 12, 2011
Great handling saw I like the feel of this saw. Very easy to handle for felling or removing limbs from trees. I am impressed with the power this saw has. It will cut through a log much faster than I thought it would for a saw of that size. Quiet operation and great handling make it easy to cut faster with less fatigue. A great product for the dollar spent. March 8, 2011
