Great all purpose saw! This saw is heavy duty for not a heavy duty price. Seems to be built like a pro series with all the features of a pro. Good enough to clear fence rows and powerful enough to head to the log woods. Perfect for the farm and home. Handles easy and effortlessly. You will love this saw. May 25, 2011
engine problems Couldn't get the engine to start after adding proper gas and oil. (50:1 mixture). Tried to start with brake on(As per instructions) Released brake and started. Cut with it but never could keep it running. Used it a second time and had trouble with it staying running. Shut it down to move some limbs for 10 minutes and would not start at all. Did not even try to fire. Took it to dealer and he is still working on it after 3 weeks. Very upset. Researched the product and it was rated one good machine. Hasn't proved itself yet. Have ran chainsaws all of my adult years and never had these kind of problems. May 24, 2011
Homeowner's Helper After a severe winter, even by New England standards, I finally broke down and purchased a Husqvarna 435 chain saw. As a Massachusetts homeowner with an acre of property I had plenty of tree limbs and a couple of small trees to deal with. The 435 made quick work of them and proved to be a valued assistant during Spring clean-up. The 435 is easy to use and has plently of 'homeowner' power in a manageable size. The saw's safety features also give me peace of mind. May 24, 2011
Great Saw Bought this a 435 with a 16 inch bar at Lowes to trim and fell trees around the house. It will be used for firewood and christmas tress as well. Day one this saw was amazing. Neighbors didn't complain about the noise and there was little to no vibration. Took care of all the tasks that needed to be done. I will never buy a saw without the Husqvarna name on it again. It took a little while to get it started the first time but that was more the operator than the saw. May 23, 2011
Hard starting Once it runs this saw does the job and idles very well. The problem I have had is starting when cold and when its hot after about 15 minutes restarting is a real chore. I had it back to the shop where I purchased it for both the hard starting and high throttle power loss and they adjusted the carburetor but the starting problem persists. May 22, 2011
great little saw This saw is not a pro saw but it holds its own, I have cut some big trees that it cut through like butter.. so I would recommend this saw for shure... May 16, 2011
starting Overall, this is a good product, relatively light, easy to handle and cuts very well. My main beef is that it is hard to start. I think there should be a convenient way to control the throttle when starting. May 8, 2011
Great saw for average use Saw has good balance and cuts well. The plate you put your foot on to hold the saw in place while cranking is a little tricky. As stated it takes a few pulls to start but overall well satisfied with product. May 4, 2011
