Hard to start but otherwise aq good saw for light weight work.

This is a GREAT little saw.
I have a larger saw but wanted a small home owner saw for trimming. After using the 435 Husky I started using it for my farm duties. I cleared a 1 acre lot of about 100 trees ranging from 6" to 24" diameter with the 435 and it did a great job. It is all the saw most homeowners will ever need.
Thanks Husky for building great products.

Better than others in the same price range.
I did a fair amount of shopping around before deciding on this saw. It seemed to be a better value when compared to others in the same price range. As promised, it does start easily, has sufficient power, it's light and manuverable, and vibration free. It seems to be well made and appears to be easy to service. I've only used it for 10 to 12 hours, but so far has met my needs nicely.

OMG- The 435 will not start!
From the first tank in this new saw it would not start without pulling it 15-20 times. I purchased a Husqvarna because my father has one and it worked so well. Either I have a lemon or the quality has really dropped.

Great Mid-Range saw
So far this has been a great mid-level saw. Starts with very little effort and idles like a champ. Good, but not outstanding, power for a saw this size. Not a pro saw, but a very high quality saw for a landowner. I did not want the tool-less chain tensioner, and this saw doesn't have it. Arrived in a box, fully assembled, just add gas and oil.

Great value in the 2HP market
This is my 3rd Husky saw, first consumer model. Much better build quality vs big box store value priced saws. Good HP rating, solid performance for limb work. Only two complaints are the lack of adjustable bar oiler & single bar retention nut instead of two like most commercial grade saws.
If you are looking for a limbing saw or light duty feller, this is a perfect choice in the 2HP market.
