Easy start every time
The chainsaw is very easy to start and restart. I haven't ran this for a long period of time yet(over 4 or 5 hours) but I have had to start and restart quite a few times and have not had any problems with it. As far as cutting, it cuts just as you would expect from a saw of this size. Overall I am very happy with the saw and would buy it again.

Small but Powerful
Cranks easily, runs great and is surprisingly strong for the size of the chainsaw. Perfect saw to keep around the house, light enough to clear brush but powerful enough to cut down smaller trees. Only issue is the bar oil leaks slightly when the saw is not in use, not from the tank though.

great until HOT
The handling on the 435 I got was great, no problems during light use. I had it going for a while then chopping up and braching a very large tree, shut it down, then went to re start and nothing. No fuel in the primer bulb, should have restarted immediately, but after 1/2 an hour of frustration stil nothing... truied pumping primer bulb, no fuel going through. It was hours of down time untill i could get it started again.
I don't have time for that when I'm working.

Starts, runs and cuts exceptionally well. Comfortable and safe to use, doesn't wear you out during extended use. Excellent homeowner's chainsaw.

Great all purpose saw!
This saw is heavy duty for not a heavy duty price. Seems to be built like a pro series with all the features of a pro. Good enough to clear fence rows and powerful enough to head to the log woods. Perfect for the farm and home. Handles easy and effortlessly. You will love this saw.

Couldn't get the engine to start after adding proper gas and oil. (50:1 mixture). Tried to start with brake on(As per instructions) Released brake and started. Cut with it but never could keep it running. Used it a second time and had trouble with it staying running. Shut it down to move some limbs for 10 minutes and would not start at all. Did not even try to fire. Took it to dealer and he is still working on it after 3 weeks. Very upset. Researched the product and it was rated one good machine. Hasn't proved itself yet. Have ran chainsaws all of my adult years and never had these kind of problems.

After a severe winter, even by New England standards, I finally broke down and purchased a Husqvarna 435 chain saw. As a Massachusetts homeowner with an acre of property I had plenty of tree limbs and a couple of small trees to deal with. The 435 made quick work of them and proved to be a valued assistant during Spring clean-up. The 435 is easy to use and has plently of 'homeowner' power in a manageable size. The saw's safety features also give me peace of mind.

Bought this a 435 with a 16 inch bar at Lowes to trim and fell trees around the house. It will be used for firewood and christmas tress as well. Day one this saw was amazing. Neighbors didn't complain about the noise and there was little to no vibration. Took care of all the tasks that needed to be done. I will never buy a saw without the Husqvarna name on it again. It took a little while to get it started the first time but that was more the operator than the saw.
