Best electric saw I have ever used Since I purchased this saw I have felled 5 trees (cedar and alder) with trunk diameters ranging from 14 to 22 inches. The saw was extremely easy to handle and had plenty of power. I really like the fact that the motor is inline with the saw blade unlike other electric saws, allowing for a narrower profile which makes it easier to get into tight spots. Hands down , this is the best electric saw I have ever used and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to tackle medium sized jobs without having to deal with the hassles that come with a gas engine. Super bowl champ of electric saws Simply the best electric saw available. Powerful, easy to handle, sensible safety features, sturdy but light. I live in woodsy setting on two acres and can reach most areas with extension cord. I use it a lot from cutting down trees or cutting up firewood. No gas, no smell, no problemo. February 24, 2011
Good electric chainsaw I've used this saw for a number of utility jobs around the house and to cut up limbs from a large poplar tree we had cut down. The saw is easy to use, cuts well for an electric, and has been durable to date. The biggest job was to cut the stump lower from that big poplar we had taken down. It was about 24 inches in diameter, and though it took time, it did the job. February 24, 2011
Words from a very satisfied customer This is now my 3rd Husqvarna chain saw - oine gas powered, and two electrics. I am completely satisfied with everything about the saws. I used my first electric -- which is still in my shop -- foir untold hours, enjoying its operational dependability so much that I purchased a second on a few months back. In fact, it was used for more than an hour today trimming tree limbs. Thank you for making a good product. By the way, my next riding lawn mower will also be a Husqvarna! February 24, 2011
Be your own lumberjack... Excellent safety features built in, recoup your investment quickly, no gas, no cords plug in start cutting... February 24, 2011
cutting firewood I use my Husqvarna for cutting firewood for the entire season. I cut aspen trunks to 18" lengths with no problem. The logs vary in diameter from 6" to 24". I use the electric because it's quiet and clean to use. I don't drive my neighbors crazy with the noise. Don't know what I'd do without my Husqvarna. I did have a few problems with the first one I owned. The switch and some electronic mechanisms had to be replaced, but this one works great so far. February 24, 2011
Emergency purchase of chain saw Last summer we had a nasty wind storm and several small tornadoes come thru our area causing severe damage to 10 trees and toppling 3 others. Our public road was closed by one toppled tree and our driveway was also blocked by two others. My old chainsaw (another brand) was overused and burned up (electric), thus a quick trip to the local hardware store. The only chain saw left was a Husquvarna electric chain saw. Forced to purchase it due to our predicament, but afterward greatly pleased with its performance. It had plenty of power even with the 16-24" material. I would definately recommend the Husqvarna electric chain saw for the periodic user. February 24, 2011
Cutting without Care I was looking for an electric chainsaw to do occasional trimming around a suburban lot. I read the reviews and this model was highly rated and accurately so. I just love it for small jobs. It's light, quiet and oh so easy to maintain. Just check the chain oil occasionally, fill as necessary and you're good to go. February 23, 2011
