Only ran 30 minutes After running for 30 minutes, quit idling completely and needed continuous restarting to use. Took to authorized dealer who adjusted the carburetor, charged $25, not covered by warranty because this is a gas issue according to Husqvarna customer service, even though manual suggests saw may need adjusting. This effectively has added $100's of dollars to cost especially since tool to adjust is not available. This is basically a use once and throw away $200 item. VERY unhappy. This was my first Husqvarna and will be my last. July 9, 2012
chain tighter breaks the plastic mold when trying the tighten the chain with the chain tighting screw the metal piece rides up and breaks the plastic holder. July 8, 2012
Model 235 Bought new 235 cause I needed a lightweight saw , I was impressed with the 235 overall for just cleaning up around the pasture and house. I have a 55 rancher that I've used for 15 years but it is just to heavy to trim limbs with . There was no doubt I was buying another husquvarna product after the service I have received with weedeater, chainsaw, blower and mower, the oldest is my 55 rancher at 15 years old. July 8, 2012
Does the job I bought this to do some tree cleaning around the house. It has done a great job and I would recommend this to a friend. I do wish it was easier to start. July 5, 2012
Grreat basic duty chainsaw This saw is perfect for the average user. Someone that uses the saw like I do could not be happier. You get the Husqvarna name and quality for a great price point. This 240 cost me $179 and is well worht it. There are cheaper saws out there for this type of use, but thats what t hey are --- CHEAPER. For occasional firewood cutting to seasonal tree trimming, this smaller lighter saw can't be beat. July 3, 2012
Good Saw I had some trouble when I first got this saw.(hard to start chain keps poping off)But... It was all my fault..Read instructions and use 89+ octane gas and husky's synthetic mix.I had a custom chisle chain made for it and all I got to say is... It is a little beast! I use it atleast 3 days a week (firewood buisiness)It cuts better than some of my larger saws.If you use it alot.. keep up on the maitenence on it and it will serve you well. This is my first husqvarna saw and I'm seriously impressed.I will soon going to buy a 440 and a 460 saw to replace my other saws When you first buy this saw break it in properly and you will love it!
