Regreting this purchase
I bought this on an impulse since I was looking for a small saw to cut brush with and have had great performance from other Husqvarna products. It worked great for the 1st 10 minutes of running. Then it quit and hasn't run since. I've drained and refreashed gas, pumped, pulled, yanked and cussed. It will sputter along for a minute or 2 but give it gas and it dies. Makes for an expensive door stop.

after 4 trees cut up
everything works as should after 4 trees cut up. The oiler runs a little heavy, to the point where you'll run out of bar oil before gas. This may be something that will slow with a little wear, I hope so. But i'd rather have too much oil than not enough....The anti vibe stuff is slightly over engineered, allowing the saw to buck some when initial contact is made. I'd personally prefer less movement.

Piece of junk
Started good the first time but would not keep running after it warmed up. Let it cool down and it would start again but stop when it warmed up. Returned it to Lowes and went to a local garden shop and bought a Stihl. What a difference. Was told that the low end Husqvarna are made by Poulan.

I bought this saw because it was a Husqvarna. From years of cutting trees and stocking up for winter with my father and his large 455 rancher, I figured this saw would be a great saw for me. I have a smaller house and cut about a quarter of what he does. I regret buying this saw because it lacks power, shuts off constantly, and does not start up easily.(And yes I do maintain and service my saws)
To make matters worse I was cutting a small maybe 12" diameter tree in my yard with my grandfather who brought over his cheap electric chainsaw ($67 brand new). He figured 2 saws are better than one and he could use his to cut the small branches. After slow cutting, numerous shut offs and trouble restarting he basically took over the bigger stock and I went to get my skill saw. This was embarrassing. Since day one this saw has disappointed me.
I have lost faith in Husqvarna chainsaws ever since they started selling cheaper quality products at big box stores. There was a time when these saws were top notch and shared the thrown with STIHL, but I am beginning to think otherwise lately.

Light and Nimble
After using this saw for about a month it is really handy for trim work. Of course it doesn't have the power of the old 51 or 353 but has its place in the family of saws. The other two do the heavy jobs. I cut a couple of loads of red and white oak with it and it does well for the limb wood.

Great saw for the price!
The first time I took it out, it did a great job! Cut 1 cord of wood with no problem! Wasn't as fast as my parents saw, but did fine! Family has owned a Husky for several years, we love it! So I bought one too! I did not want a large size saw, so I bought the 240! Good power for the size, but it's not a power house! It quit a few times when I let go of the throttle, but it always started right up! The store I bought it from said they would adjust the Carb after the first use for free! Great buy for the price! Got a 4yr warranty just by buying 3qts of fuel with the saw! Very happy with my purchase!

difficult to start
I wish I had researched your product on this website before purchasing it. Its actually a nice size saw with good power in a light package, when it runs. It is, as numerous users have mentioned, quite difficult to start at times. I find myself pulling the starting rope over and over. Sometimes it will eventually start but, for no apparent reason, at times it will not.
