I got this saw for Christmas. Nice saw, a little hard starting though.

Good value for the money.

Great homeowner saw
I'am going on 20 years with a wood stove and have used mostly 16" Cradftsman saws. My job consistented on cutting 2-3 cords of wood off my property. Working fulltime all these years left me little time during the week, so weekends is where I saw most of my cutting time leaving no room for saw malfuctions. As I age, I'm more interested in saving time and my body. I did alot of researech and decided to try Husqvarna saws. The model 240 offers everything I need. Most of all, it starts on 2-3 pulls and idles nicely. It's weigh is perfect and I love the shock absorbtion feature. I'd buy this saw again. I'm in the process of changing all my Craftsman tools over to Husqvarna. A++++

Not what I expected.
Did my research and thought I was getting exactly what I needed. Had trouble starting it from the very beginning, used it to trim some cedar bushes and can't get it started now. On top of that, I have to take it 65 miles to get it fixed.

I bought this saw a little over 3 months ago and already run over 5 gallons of gas through it. This thing cuts great. For the price, which was low, not a saw on the market can match. I would recommend a husqvarna to any cutting wood for home or farm.

When you buy a chain saw for the amount I paid, you expect more. The 38cc motor, 18 inch saw bearly makes it through a tree trunk.
Yes, it starts up fine (it better, it's brand new) and the weight is good, but I will not say it is the best I've come across.
