Good saw, lightweight but with adequate power. Uses very little fuel. Only saw that I have owned that actually idles ... saves a lot of time without need for restart. Only complaint is that I cannot put my foot through the handle as recommended for starting ... average size foot/ moot won't fit as required.
I would buy the saw again. Clearly Husqvarna provides quality.

I bought this chainsaw just to do little stuff and to keep in my truck for hunting season. Its perfect, has enough power to cut bigger stuff but light enough to do little stuff.

240 Chainsaw X Torq
I recently purchased this saw to replace a Poulan Pro saw that was only 3 yers old . I checked the Stihl saws before purchasing the Husqvarna , I must say took out of the box followed the Quick Start Guide and by the 3rd pull it fired wright up went and cut a small tree down from a bad wind storm from a couple weeks ago .. trimmed a tree for a neighbor no issues love the saw .. I only do light work around the house cut small trees down use the wood for camping . I am currenlty in need of a new trimmer .. strongly considering a Husqvarna not sure of what model yet but I am sold on the Quality and easy use of the saw so far. I have about 6 trees to cut down in the next couple weeks for a friend and a family member

Good value for the money.
Good value for the money, but since my review text is too short, I need to add word I guess??? so maybe marginal value for the money???.

Great homeowner saw
I'am going on 20 years with a wood stove and have used mostly 16" Cradftsman saws. My job consistented on cutting 2-3 cords of wood off my property. Working fulltime all these years left me little time during the week, so weekends is where I saw most of my cutting time leaving no room for saw malfuctions. As I age, I'm more interested in saving time and my body. I did alot of researech and decided to try Husqvarna saws. The model 240 offers everything I need. Most of all, it starts on 2-3 pulls and idles nicely. It's weigh is perfect and I love the shock absorbtion feature. I'd buy this saw again. I'm in the process of changing all my Craftsman tools over to Husqvarna. A++++
