Yardwork made easy!
The ease of starting this chainsaw is what sold me on the product. The ergonomic design makes using it much more comfortable then other chainsaws. Plenty of power in this model for cleaning up after all the recent storms -

Good saw for the Money
I have been using a sears brand saw for the past 8 years and finally it went down, so naturally I wanted to continue with what I have been using, well sears is now making a lower quality product, out of the box it would not stay running so I went back to sears and exchanged it for a Husqvarna. Let me tell you from the first pull I have been very pleased with this product. I cut about 4-5 cords of firewood each year which I take from tree to stove, and this saw can do it all. It has not let me down yet, I have had it for 4 months now and use it every weekend. Because of the volume of wood that I am processing now, I'm thinking of a second saw, one that has a little more power, and it will be a Husqvarna. Save your time and money and invest in a Husqvarna, you will be glad that you did.

The small big 240
Never had a problem starting it the first time the tenth time or ever. Just follow the instructions. I do not think that I will ever need another saw for my smal holding cutting small/medium trees down, fire wood and general maintenance work around the house and the field.

Neighbor was Impressed
I've only used it once but I was quite impressed by it. It was light and easy to work with. My neighbor had to show me how to get it started but once he got it going it was a breeze. As a estate manager himself, he was quite impressed I had bought this chainsaw.

Refurbished - but oiler doesn't work
I was very excited to purchase my Hasqvarna 240 saw. It seems to be a nice product and of good quality even as a refurbished saw, which was guaranteed to be as good or better than new, however...... It did take some doing to get it started initially, maybe due to being a new saw, but then started OK after initial start. During it's first use it cut well through 6-8" trees. I noticed however, that it did not have the power I was expecting and also that there was no oil on the chain or bar (possibly related). I took it to my service center where it has been for three weeks apparently waiting on parts for the oiler. I have a 90 days warranty of which a third is now gone. I have a 30 day return policy, which is no longer of use for an exchange. Hoping that Hasqvarna is a good enough comapny to make this saw run well eventually and that I will get great service for many years. I still believe it is a good product which is why I purchased it in the first place (things happen). I am also hoping I did not get a lemon and will now have to eat the cost of buying a new saw. I am sure that Hasqvarna will stand by their product. I have heard good things and they are in the process of repairing it through their service center. Maybe should have purchased it new rather than refurbished, but could not pass up the opportunity at the price. Still would buy one again if I needed a good chain saw.

The saw performed as advertised
Out of the box this chainsaw performed well. If you follow the quickstart guide you shouid not have a problem starting the chainsaw. Cutting should be done slowly until you learn how the saw performs.

A HUSQVARNA FAN 4-EVER
I PURCHASED THE HUSQVARNA 240 FOR YARD CLEAN UP AFTER THE OCTOBER SNOW STORM THAT KNOCKED DOWN LOTS OF TREES. THE 240 WAS GREAT, CUT THROUGH TREES UP TO 16" IN DIA. WITH NO PROBLEM. THE 240 IS LIGHT AND HAS DURABILITY THAT HUSQVARNA IS KNOWN FOR. THE SAW IS EASY TO USE AND MAINTAIN. THE CHAIN TIGHTENING SYSTEM IS A SNAP. I WOULD RECOMMEND THE HUSQVARNA 240 TO ANYONE NEEDING A CHAIN SAW FOR HOMEOWNER WORK AROUND THE PROPERTY.
