HUSQVARNA 150BT 4.7 5 364 364
Step up in power and quality Lawn work is not my profession, but my parents are at that age where I take care of their yard as well as mine. I had a 25cc hand held blower which barely took care of grass clippings much less wet leaves. The 150BT starts easy . It takes care of the grass and leaves in less than a quarter of the time using the 25cc. It is comfortable and easy to use. I can't comment on the durability yet as I have only had the 150BT for one month. I noticed a lot of lawn professionals use Husqvarana so I chose to spend a bit more for it versus the lower cost consumer models. It may be too heavy to carry for some folks, especially the elderly or those with back problems October 23, 2011
Don't purchase a husqvarna blower I purchased a new husqvarna blower. Started up right away out of the box. However, once warmed up, the unit would not run with the choke off. After cleaning the plug, checking air filter, etc., I called customer service. Customer service's answer was that it was the EPA's fault as they will not allow the units to be properly set up prior to leaving the factory. I was then informed that I need to take the unit to an authorized dealer for a tune up of the carburator. I have never heard of a company that produces a product that doesn't work while also failing to back their product. Based on Husqvarna's poor quality and even lower quality customer service, I can confidently report that I will never purchase another one of their products. October 21, 2011
WOW!!!! Only had it a couple days but already impressed. Went together easily, started right up and then I went out in the rain to blow leaves off the grass along the edge of the woods. NO PROBLEM. In no time the grass was green again and looked better than if I had raked/vacuumed it. Can't find enough words to describe how well my 150BT performed. October 19, 2011
Great product!!! This is a very good product. The product could is costly but you get what you pay for. October 11, 2011
So far... This thing has power. Although I've only used it a few times, I know this will be up for the task of taking care needs. The only drawback is the pounds required for the pull start. I realize there's a big flywheel that needs to be turned and this wheel provides the high CFM of air that this unit delivers. That said, I'm ok with the harder than normal pullstart. October 11, 2011
Good little machine Although I have only had this leaf blower for a short time. I am very happy with it. It is light weight and comfortable for a backpack. Starting is a snap and power to spare. I have seven trees in my yard and no shortage of leafs, very pleased with the power this unit has to move those leafs. October 10, 2011
A joy to operate. This unit replaces a Redmax that finally gave out on me. This new blower is very quiet running and twice as powerful as the Redmax. I like the feature with the trigger mechanism that goes to idle when you release the trigger. I have an acre of leaves every fall and this will make my job a breeze. October 3, 2011
Powerful, quit, and comfortable I have only had the blower a few days, but have used the unit to blow lots of leaves and sticks from my driveway and edge of woods. I have been impressed with the power of the unit to blow wet leaves and push larger piles across my yard. I have had a weedwacker attachment blower for years, though this unit is 10 times more powerful, quiet, and easy to use. My only recommendation would be that Husqvarna make the flexible elbow a few inches longer so that the discharge pipe could move more freely to the left. The unit has good range of motion from 10:00 to 3:00. It takes a bit more effots to position the optput further left. THis is probably not as much of an issuefor someone smaller than 6'2", 195 lbs like myself. The weight of the unit is not bad. The harness is comfortable and distributes the weight nicely across the shoulders. I used the unit twice this weekend for over an hour each time without fatigue. The real benefit this unit has over other blowers, especially weed-wacker attachments, is how quiet the unit is. Most of the noise that you hear while using the unit comes fromthe air intake/ blower making a nice whirling/ whining sound. I would definitely recommend this unit for a homeowner or someone with 1+ acres to maintain. I will definitely consider other Husqvarna equipment if this unit continues to impress me for the remainder of the season. October 2, 2011
