I updated from a hand held blower purchased in the 80's to the 150BT - what an upgrade. I had a hard time coming to grips with the $299 price tag but after strapping this sucker on that feeling went away as fast as the leaves I was blowing.
Got leaves - get a 150BT

1/2+ Acre of oaks blown away
I've had smaller blowers in the past that make raking seem like fun. Having had great luck with a Husqvarna chainsaw handed down from my father I gave them a shot when it came time for a blower.
Raking more then a half acre of oak trees doesn't fit into my schedule so this product has been great. With a new lawn in front I'm able to keep the green shinning all through fall. With the power I get from the 150BT I can blow away mounds of wet leaves, sticks, branches, acorns and pretty much anything else in my yard.
Worth every penny

Absolutely amazing blower. It is far more powerful than i thought, decent price, starts first or second pull every time. It easily cut my blowing time in a fraction. I even get carried away and end up in neighbors yard with it! It is a little heavy but actually feels very comfortable on your back and has almost no vibration.
The only two problems i have with this blower is that the fuel prime bulb is hard to get to, and there is nothing to hold onto the blower while trying to start it. Not a huge deal but something Husqvarna should change in future models.

Great Blower, Great Performance
The 150BT blower is a great blower with great performance. It is easy to start, easy to use and delivers in all conditions. It moves wet debris as easily as dry. Has made leaf removal so much easier. The only problem I have had is that the blower tube comes apart occasionally during use.

Excellent product but not without an issue
I really like this blower. I did extensive research before purchasing (at Lowe's) and the BT150 was the best buy based on price, airflow (CFM) and wind speed. Performance wise it has exceeded my expectations. This blower can move lots of leaves. It is relatively quiet, feels light on the back (two hour sessions are no problem and I wanted a back back blower due to my back issues). Uses more gas than expected (about one tankful per hour) but that's not really a big deal.
Assembly presented one problem, when attaching the throttle lever there is a thumbscrew, a threaded shaft and a cap nut. The thumbscrew would not turn on the shaft at all, eventually turning the thumbscrew (with a pliers) broke the shaft through the cap screw. It is all together but certainly not the way it was intended. Seems to be a quality issue with those components.
Here's the bigger issue... The very first time I used it when I ran out of gas and took it off to refill the gas cap was gone, it had vibrated off. My question to the engineers is, why is this cap not tethered to the tank, it should be!
Fortunately that cap of my Toro fits so that is what I am using for the time being.
I called customer service to complain about the lack of a tethered cap and reached an impersonal and uncaring representative, quite disappointing. I then went to my local Husqvarna dealer (not Lowe's) because that its what customer service told me I should do, and they do not know anything about a BT150 and were unable to assist me in ordering a replacement cap. VERY Disappointing.
At this point I'm thinking of getting a Toro cap since Husqvarna customer service seems to be unwilling or unable to help.
Knowing this, I would still buy this unit because it works so good but I am going to look for a TETHERED cap that will fit it.

Very powerful, Quiet, a bit hard to start
This blower is very powerful yet surprisingly quiet compared to less powerful two cycles I have owned. Its very comfortable on the back and mounting it is easy. Once mounted it is easy to use and is an extension of one's arm. Starting is a bit tricky as there is not place to put ones foot on it to hold it steady when its on the ground. Also it takes a few more cranks that it should to start and there is no decompression button on it like my Husqvarna chainsaw. I would really like a gutter cleaning pipe kit for this model as well
